First, it's that long, totally inconsiderate phone greeting. Even after you go past it often you have to wait longer to get to a person. Today there's something new - a long announcement about the NY State of Health that loops around forever! I originally called to reschedule an appointment, but I decided to cancel altogether because it appears to me that the office wouldn't help me anyways! It's pure torture...I tried calling again in the afternoon, and suffered through the same long greeting and the looping advertisement but was able to get a man who was totally unsympethetic after I explained the situation, and he did confirm my appointment for the day after tomorrow was canceled. But on the same night and the next day (today) I continued to get the long and tedious reminders. I went to the portal and the appointment was still there so I sent another message to the doctor cancelling it. Btw. I've been trying to get hold of the doctor since last Friday and today is Wednesday, all to no avail. I tried calling all the numbers under that doctor and it's the same long greeting and looping ad! As a last resort I tried faxing, but the line was busy...

Dr. Boxer is a extremely rude, unprofessional doctor. He caused a lot of stress to my elderly mother who was referred by digestive care physician Dr. Crow for food allergies. He kept on asking her questions related to her health though a referral was initiated for test. My mom understands little English and he refused to test her. This caused so much unpleasantness that my mother has decided not to see a doctor ever again.

Doctors seem to just have all students not knowing what they are doing, the staff in the front desk is very much slow I kept telling them my information and what I need they don’t seem to listen, you have to make sure you speak to them at least 4 times to get your point across wouldn’t recommend and you guys are supposed to be the best care around

I’ve been going to Dr. David for so many years - I’ve lost track. I have complete trust in him and also appreciate his care and concern. He takes time to talk and I never feel rushed. He is also not quick to prescribe meds which I feel is important. He has called me to make sure I follow up with other specialists when I was so overwhelmed that I forgot. He got me back on track.

Love my doctor, but Northwell Health Physician Partners has major issues with its billing systems. Go over your mailed bills from them carefully, and cross check with their online system. They may not agree! I've had two problems with Northwell in the past three months and had to take action to protect my credit rating from their discrepancies, errors and omissions. The medicine is first rate because the doctors are fantastic, but the business practices, systems and customer service is sub-adequate probably due to the huge corporation cutting costs to maximize profits. Patient health may be #1 with the doctors, but patient customer service is of secondary concern to their corporate masters seeking bonuses.

When you are sick or if it's an emergency, you will not able to get an appointment. I called when I developed a rash on my shoulder and couldn't get an appointment. I was told to go to the local Urgent Care, which I did as I had the rash for a week. It turned out to be an infection, and I was prescribed antibiotics by a doctor that I had just met for the first time with no knowledge of my medical history.
