Not ordering again from this place. I ordered flowers to be sent to my wife for her birthday. I placed the order on Tuesday to be delivered on Thursday(her birthday). Instead, she got the flowers delivered on Wednesday. I waited for a phone call apology that never came. So I called and the person that answered me knew about the mistake. Do you know what was his excuse? “Oh, we send the flowers a day earlier because people don’t go to work on their birthdays”. COME ON ??? I was hoping I could get at least some kind of discount, or perhaps a complementary rose that I could pick up the day of her birthday (which is when I called). Instead I get this ridiculous response. I would have been much happier with a “hey, I’m sorry we made a mistake”, instead of that sad and sorry excuse.

I called with a last minute request for a same day delivery and they couldn’t have been more understanding! The arrangement was beautiful and I would recommend them highly. I will definitely be using them again.

The most beautiful roses I have ever given anyone. This will be my to go place. The only reason I am deducting a star is because I didn’t get a notification of delivery for 3 hrs, I think that need to be automated in real time but all in all the roses were gorgeous.

Exceeded my expectation!
I accidentally contacted and purchased funeral flowers from this florist thinking that it was the florist I usually used. When I discovered the error I was very nervous because I was ordering flowers on behalf of the deceased grand children who were out of town and requested my assistance. Although, the owner’s did not come off as being very compassionate when I explained the mixup , he did assure me that he has many year experience and that his work is very good. ‘The proof is in the pudding’!
The flowers looked , to me, better than the section picture. And the prices are so great!

I cannot believe that I’ve passed this florist so many times and opted for that flower company that begins with 1-800. NEVER AGAIN! The crafter of my ordered arrangement surpassed my expectations! I am extremely happy with my purchase and must thank Plantshed for steering me towards this hidden gem of a shop in NHP.

Don't bother going anywhere else. I have only good things to say about New Hyde Park Florist. First off, they made the last minute process of funeral flowers so easy, prices were extremely fair, delivery was on point, but the arrangements itself?? No words can describe how perfect they were. They were bought kind of sight unseen and needed to be ready very quickly. They were very busy but still allowed us to add a personalized DAD display which was UNREAL. We were so incredibly happy with the design, they included extra little flowers that we wanted, and they LASTED. We went to visit my dad's grave a week after his funeral and the flowers were still in great shape! We almost thought they were fake by how good they still looked. They were so kind to our situation and made everything so easy at such a fair price. If you're shopping around for a florist, don't waste your time. Just visit New Hyde Park Florist.
