THEIR FREE GUEST PASS IS NOT FREE! On the 24 hour fitness website, it has the ability for you to get a free three day pass for this specific location, but when you go to the location the front desk person will first say they can’t do it and then will ask you for $25 despite what the corporate website says.
I don’t know if it’s because the front desk person was a white man and I’m non white and he is racist, but either way, avoid. Extremely corrupt and shady business practices going on here.

Went in to the gym to take a tour today. As soon as I requested a tour the front desk worker made a face and said I'm the only one here. He didn't say anything else. I requested if I could walk around and he said ok. When I came back I requested the rates. He quickly replied that the rates are online. I made a face and he stated that the only reason why he stated this was because they change all the time. I was extremely baffled by the lack of customer service skills.

I started coming to this gym maybe a month & a half ago & tbh i should’ve looked into it a little more, when i started Water fridge was not working, not sure how long exactly that took but i noticed it down for about a week when i started, not for nothing I use to be at planet fitness & for $10 a month felt worth it, machines broke they’d have it fix within 24-48h, at 24h your paying between $40-50 for a membership and you can barely even work out, it’s busy damn near 24/7, machines are broken for weeks and weeks and more continue to break and no fixing seems to be taken place. The paper towel dispensers don’t work there’s like 2 or 3 broken or just don’t have paper, the weights are always alllll over the place (always packed, and not 1 single employee on the floor putting things back / trying to reorganize / restock(matter fact i saw 1 guy, 1x putting them back and never again seen anyone else) at Planet fitness i always see them cleaning machines, restocking etc also important friendly staff. Also every time i go to check in i always gotta play with the scanner because it doesn’t scan right away, Planet fitness at this point just makes more sense only downside is the space/machines & you’re paying less. 24h just feel like it’s all over the place, just because you pay more clearly don’t mean anything lol, but now i know reviews are a MUST read always !!

Huge gym with parking lot but Overall not such a great gym culture. Machines and equipment is fine Gets the job done. Even though they have sauna and steam room as well as hottub and pool most days one of those amenities don’t work.

The gym has a wide range of machines but most of them are not working which is quite inconvenient. The bathrooms are not that dirty but sometimes they can get messy.

I’ve had a membership for a few years and always thought this gym was the best in Rockland county. Fast forward to 2024. Half the treadmills are broken, out of service, or don’t incline, the bikes in the cycle room you’d be lucky to find a working bike during cycle class to track your progress. Over all the machines upstairs simple DON’T work. I’ve given the chance of 6 months maybe they needed to get new equipment ordered or for their maintenance team to service the bikes, treadmills but nope. For a gym to be in my opinion EXPENSIVE for the year the LEAST they can do is have working machines especially knowing it’s a big gym with a ton of people coming in and out.
Pro: it’s 24 hours, and I love the instructor for cycle class and body pump (the bald, tone guy) he’s amazing and very motivating during the classes.

The 25 yard lap pool is good if you get there early.
Otherwise, you have to wait and watch some people take up lanes just so they can stand in the water or bounce in the water.

Many machines are in need of repair, people leave weights and trash all over the place, that being said, it's a great value and has everything one could need from a gym.

Not anyone at the front desk of my home location Nanuet New York can tell me how to contact corporate customer service. I spoke with a gentleman named Mike and he told me there is no way for him To tell me how to contact corporate I've been trying to change my membership since the third day I signed up and haven't been able to contact anybody

Was trying to find a gym by my boyfriend’s town to powerlift in and got a trial online of this gym. However when I got to the gym they would not honor the pass, which I found ridiculous. So just to let other future customers know they don’t honor the free trial online.

I just wanted to write a review about Denise the pool Lifeguard. I have observed that she is a diligent and conscientious worker who goes above and beyond the call of duty.
have observed her going out of her way to clean up the pool area and I am sure that is not in her job description. She is exceptionally polite and pleasant on a daily basis with all of the members.
Moreover, I have been a member for several years and without a doubt she is the best lifeguard that has been there since I have been enjoying 24 Hour Fitness. She definitely deserves recognition for her performance as a lifeguard as well as her consist professional demeanor.

Overall an ok gym. The staff are nice, some take their job very seriously but they are very respectful. Only problem is the people that come here and the machines. Some people tend to keep trash around the area and not have any care for the machines. The machines break almost every week and they need to get new and better machines. For the price of the membership I expect this gym to be slightly better but overall I like it.
