Owners Mike and Brenda treated us like friends. Fun conversations, interesting information about local restaurants, boat trips, falls, and the upcoming festival. They were quick to provide us with an extra pillow and the morning treats and coffee were perfect! Our room was very clean and we got fresh towels everyday. The small room refrigerator helped us keep snacks from Tops (across the street and north) fresh. This is a quaint and affordable motel that sits high on a hill and within walking distance of downtown Montour Falls and a short drive to Watkins Glen. Thank you, Mike and Brenda! You rocked it!

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a short drive to Watkins Glen State Park and within walking distance to Shequaga Falls. The service was excellent. I would recommend staying here. It was a nice family-run motel.

My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at The Falls. Mike was very helpful with places to see (Taugannock Falls!!) and restaurant suggestions. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I liked having 2 chairs to relax in, and the jacuzzi tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. We appreciated the continental breakfast, and my husband says it was the best coffee !!!! When we ran into a glitch with our reservation Mike went out of his way to accomodate us. We definitely recommend The Falls for your stay in Watkins Glen. Close to everything except the noiseof the busy downtown.

Not worth $200 a night. Cheap motel with bugs, spiders, broken coffee maker, broken bathroom lock and cheap packaged breakfast. The only upside is that it is walking distance from a waterfall and that they made our beds each day and took out the trash.

The Falls has been my home away from home since I started racing at Watkins Glen I'm 2003. Clean and convenient with Mike there always willing to have a chat. Love it here.Nearby activities: Watkins Glen racetrack.

DO NOT give your money to this business. I went there on a bike to check the price of a room and some man come running at me screaming to leave. Then he proceeded to say he will "shoot me" as I was riding off and came running at me again. Then he picked up a large stick when I stopped to defend myself and swung it at me. I absolutely felt physically threatened and he could've been charged with assault but I didn't bother with that. He said his boss was a sergeant and was in the window with a gun and was going to shoot me. All on a publicly accessible road that loops through the business from the main road.Also... The man said I wasn't allowed to be there because I didn't live in town although I live within a block of this place. That's discrimination! Can't do that. I could sue.. still might.. but nonetheless this interaction was completely inappropriate. Worst business encounter in my life!!

This was a random "dart thrown on a map" kind of choice. We had no real plans, just decided to get away for the weekend since our original plans fell through, and we could not have been happier!!This is a no-frills kind of place, but it's scrupulously clean with a good "vibe". The owners are very sweet and extremely attentive. They know this area well and had a ton of ideas for things for us to do. The motel is legit within walking distance from the Chequaga Falls & the village of Montour Falls, and all the history this cute little place has!We did stay in the suite that had a HUGE bathroom with a 2-person jetted bathtub & a separate shower. It was so clean! The suite had a kitchenette with enough essential utensils, a mini fridge, and microwave. There were 2 really nice leather swivel rocker-recliners in the area in front of the king bed, facing the TV & the gas fireplace!!Then there's the bed. It is fabulous!! I haven't slept that well in quite some time!! (It's a Tempur Pedic! 12/10 highly recommend!)We have not stayed in any of their "regular" rooms (yet) so I can't speak to those, but I can only imagine the attention to detail is still there.The pride of ownership definitely shows. The family obviously takes their property seriously.We would definitely stay here again, and have actually already talked about it :)Call them directly for the best rate!

This wasn’t the best place to stay, the room was ok but could have used a good thorough cleaning and all the dust behind the bed irritated my allergies. We were given the wrong key by mistake and went into someone’s room which was creepy, it was a mistake but made us feel not the safest staying there for the night. The bed was comfortable which was a plus, but I wouldn’t stay again.

This motel is simple, convenient and very comfortable. The window opens which was nice since it was a pleasant autumn evening. It was quiet and a great location for visiting nearby Watkins Glen. The coffee offered in the office was very good. They also had orange juice and muffins. A good choice at a reasonable price.
