The room was cute I stayed in room 225 n it was difficult to get the AC to work . When it did work it left water on the floor . The shower could have been upgraded.

We were booked at the big hotel at the casino, but pushed to the Adler. I was disappointed about this as we were there with another couple.
In the morning I went to the bathroom and I was going to wash my face. I noticed there was only one washcloth. I wet the washcloth started washing my face. I had taken my glasses off, so I couldn’t see very well. I pulled the washcloth away from my face and noticed there was a stain on the washcloth. I put my glasses on and, the stain appeared to be feces!
As we were checking out, I told the front desk person what had happened she wrote it Down but I have not received a phone call. As a matter fact, they still have $100 pending on my credit card!

This place is so cool! The lobby bar and the Mexican restaurant really came in clutch. The pool/fooseball and other games inside and out were a really nice touch. This hotel is beautiful. There was a DJ playing in the lobby which was fun to walk in to. After waiting for our room for a bit, we were surprised to find a giant blower fan & mildew smell in the room. We called the front desk, and they apologized and moved our room immediately. The 2nd room was great. The TV was glitching so bad, which was really annoying, but we walked over to the casino and entertained ourselves there. Maybe that was their tactic? (Kidding) we didn't come for the casino, but it was pretty cool .Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room was super clean and updated as well . The beds are ridiculously comfortable .

This is my third time staying at The Alder. I prefer to stay here vs the actual casino hotel to get away from the gambling. Super cool space with lots to do: top golf virtual, dos gatos restaurant/bar. The rooms are really nice- mini fridge, complimentary water bottles, and huge shower. It’s steps away from the casino. I love it here!

Was pleasantly surprised this hotel is beautiful. The front lobby looks just like the pictures so very welcoming like a winter retreat. The staff friendly, hotel very clean and the bed was so comfortable after a night of gambling at the casino. The Alder hotel is really right next to the casino less then a block. This is a great couple getaway we will definitely be coming back.

Surprised to see so many poor reviews. Our stay was great. The room was very comfortable and clean (we had a king room). Check in was quick. As far as food options they were wonderful. I do believe the issue others are having with that is that many restaurants aren’t open during the week, just Thursday and on, so that’s why they had a hard time finding food options. That is important to know. The Alder had a ton of fun games in the lobby like pool, ping pong, life size connect four, and more. Outside was a super cool lit up courtyard with corn hole, picnic tables, etc. It is NOT attached to the main casino and there is no covering to walk under to get there. However it is RIGHT next to it and took us literally all over 2 minutes to walk across the street there.

This place is beautiful. Loved all the games in lobby! Fire pits & the hot tub were my main reasons for booking & didn't disappoint. Live band, good food, peaceful at night. Only thing missing wasa fridge & microwave in our room, we had to toss some excellent leftovers. We will be back!!

A very nice hotel on its own, but please note it's is not attached to the main hotel and casino. So this is perfect if you want to be away from the hubub of the casino, but here are some things to remember.A very important thing to make note of, this hotel is not physically attached to the Resort world Casino hotel. It is a bit of a walk to the casino floor from the lobby of the Adler. There is an outdoor paved walkway between the two buildings. Keep in mind there is no covered walkway between the two sites, so if it's cold and rainy as it was while I was there, you are going to walk outside to get to the casino from The Adler Hotel Annex. The Adler hotel itself is very nice, the staff was friendly and courteous. Currently (April 2022) the food available in the Adler is limited to Thur-Sun. As well as the lobby bar. But the lobby is very nice, the bar is very cool and there is a top golf simulator in the lobby. But it was closed 80%of our stay. There is a little sundries island in the lobby with some snacks and cold drinks. There are limited ice machines, not on every floor.Notes; when you arrive if you are booked in this hotel as opposed to the casino hotel, park on the opposite side of the hotel from the casino or "upper parking" it is much more convenient. That is where the lobby is.The rooms were very clean and very nice, there was no fridge in the twin queen bed room we started in.Plenty of parking on the property.

I entered the lobby to find a disgruntled guest. There were 3 front desk workers dealing with him. I waited for over 10 minutes and wasn't even acknowledge during the wait. When it was my turn to check in, I wasn't welcomed warmly. I didn't even receive eye contact. Was told nothing about the place, where to get something to eat, complimentary coffee, nothing. I was directed to elevator. The rooms were decent however the furniture was very poorly arranged. As happy as I was to see and have a wardrobe if was placed directly in front of the king size bed meaning access was restricted to the other side of the room while in use. The TV was off set instead of being in front of the bed as in every other hotel I've been in. The "work" table was directly next to the air/heat unit so it made it very uncomfortable to work. There was no portable desk like at the Hampton Inn. The bed was incredibly comfortable even though it looked like the box on the bottom was broken. The towels are lush which was a plus. The vending machines didn't accept credit cards. The coffee in the room sounds nice however that's all that was there, coffee. No sugar or cream, so black it was for me. I would have thought there would have been some sort of enclosed walk way to the casino but no, I walked in the rain back to my room. Only 1 elevator worked for my entire stay. And even after all of this I must admit that Resorts World Catskills is still the best casino and hotel in NYS.

I run an annual 2 day golf tourn for 14 women/friends from LI.We booked rooms at the Adler (2 nights) rather than Resorts World Hotel…we were told it’s quieter and has a comfortable lobby where we could sit and have glass of wine before walking over to the hotel for dinner…walk to hotel was one minute. We loved everything about the Adler…and that was the opinion of 14 older women! Staff was very helpful & friendly, rooms were spotless, lobby was great meeting spot & we were allowed to bring our own drinks. Not one complaint…all agreed to stay there again next year for our 17th Annual Tournament. Rooms are smaller… RW rooms are Suites and Adler rooms are typical size for a double Queen but the cost is less and for our group, it was perfect!Side note…the steak restaurant at RW is FABULOUS! We ate there both nights because everything we ordered was delicious. FYI…waitress suggested sharing some of the steak dishes because they were so big and order salads ‘family style’… that was good advice!Barbara

To begin with the room was not proper, no garbage bags in the broken garbage cans , dusty , dust on the coffee pot , no fridge , there was a straw left on the couch ( housekeeping did not do their job ) not enough condiments for 2 cups of coffee ,washcloth was dirty . Lobby was beautiful , the main floor has a bar , games to play and an elevator to go to the sidewalk that goes to the casino , pool, work out area and most of eating areas . The out side of the building was not cleanly , but the lawn was well maintained.
