Love this place. Friends live here for more than 4 years now and we love hanging out in their pool and recreational center.

If you like being awaken suddenly by loud fire alarms through speakers right over your bed in the bedroom, then this is the place for you. It’s now 3:17am as I type this and all tenants just returned inside from the cold weather to return back to sleep. This happens CONSTANTLY. The fire chief who has to come to the building to walk through/actually turn off the alarm is almost as annoyed as we are and says the building owners refuse to spend the money to resolve the issue of constant false alarms. I will be escalating and pursuing necessary actions if not resolved. At $3600/month rent for a one bedroom, this is truly absurd.

Senior management is absent. Refuses to help tenants. They expect concierge to resolve every issue despite them not having resolutions. No one replies in the application “built” to help you get in contact with management. Concierge is overworked in the building and they don’t have enough staff to cover the hours and they are terrible at resolving issues. Not worth the expensive rent, also it’s not actually a smoke free building. If people under you smoke, then the smell will come up to your apartment because the vents weren’t covered properly which created drafts.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!SILVERFISH INFESTATION!If we could give negative stars, we would. We entered our lease beginning October 1st of 2022 at Fairfield Metro Mineola. After our 2nd week in, we began noticing silverfish bugs crawling throughout the apartment. We logged a service request ticket & eventually the building had an exterminator come and “treat” the apartment and we thought all was good. However, eight months later we are STILL encountering silverfish bugs throughout every room in the apartment and the situation continues to get worse.Over the past eight months we have seen dozens upon dozens of living/dead bugs in our: bedroom & closet walls/ceilings, bathtub & bathroom floor/walls, kitchen floors/walls, loft floors/walls, living room floors/walls/ceilings, crawling in/on our furniture. We see multiple silverfish daily, however the Fairfield staff regularly call us liars. In fact, the building concierge staff recently stated in an email to us that “There is no bug infestation, there is a fear of bugs”. We have been clearly communicating this issue to Fairfield for 8 months through photos. We also tried to work with Fairfield by discussing transferring into a new unit. However, Fairfield refused unless we agreed to pay thousands in transfer fees or extend our current least by another 12 months.Fairfield has a contract with Regal Exterminators who only comes to the building the last Tuesday of every month (no sooner if requested). We have had someone from Regal come and spray our apartment every month and the infestation continues. Additionally, the exterminator from Regal has been hesitant to admit that there is a problem. After showing him physical evidence, he insinuated we were liars and had brought the bugs from somewhere else! We have been unable to reach anyone high up at Fairfield to discuss this issue, we are always told everything must go through the Concierge, who are no help. When we tried to discuss breaking our lease, it was treated as a regular lease break request where we could only leave if we paid a fee. Fairfield as a company is disgusting & a disgrace for how they treat their tenants. They do not care about your well-being and will blatantly call you a liar because they do not want to admit there is a problem in their “perfect building”. I would not recommend living in this building even to my worst enemy.*UPDATE: Despite the buildings “reply” to our review, they have still YET to reach out to us or come up with a solution. In fact, we continue finding MULTIPLE bugs A DAY (23 today alone) and they are ignoring us.**NEW UPDATE: On month TEN of this infestation and still no resolution made by the building. Continuing to find multiple bugs a day. This has led to us having to throw out furniture, such as our couch. This building is disgusting. Run as fast as you can if you’re considering moving here!

My signed lease agreement legally terminated on 7/28, however Fairfield unlawfully deducted the remaining rent ($349.16 for 7/29, 7/30, and 7/31) from my security deposit despite me explaining on multiple occasions that they cannot legally charge me rent beyond my lease end date or force me to stay beyond my lease end date. They also attempted to pass local real estate tax ($1,635.68) on to me after vacating the apartment, claiming that I agreed to this in my lease agreement. However no where in my lease agreement was that noted, which they eventually acknowledged. Always know your lease agreement in detail before signing.

We've been here for just over a year and couldn't be happier. The staff has been responsive and helpful when needed and Concierge Steve Varghese is terrific.

We enjoyed living at this location. Concierge and office staff were great along with the maintenance crew. Location very walkable to train station and some restaurants, even a grocery store. The one downside is we moved out over 7 months ago and have yet to get our security deposit back even though we were in good standing. I’ve called and emailed the cooperate office several times and not one response. Feeling beyond frustrated.

When we first moved in 2 years ago, things were great. The fitness area is a great attribute, and though many machines did not work I believed it was more due to Covid than anything else. However.. it’s been two years and many machines are either unplugged indefinitely or just plain do not work. Sincerely hope people see past this selling point.Steve and Jacques are awesome concierges and have made living in these apartments a pleasant experience. The leasing and billing team however is extremely unprofessional due to their unresponsiveness. When asked for clarity and general information regarding our lease break, they sent me to an answering machine or an indefinite hold line time after time. One convenience was that I could go to the leasing office physically, but in the last year the office has remained vacant. With no response when attempting to contact by phone, email or even physically it just seems all in poor taste.Additionally, they are extremely unresponsive to billing errors even when told several times. I find it insane that we have been charged monthly for pet fees when we have contacted them with the proper forms explaining these animals cannot be charged. Especially considering other residents who seem to have far more than the permitted two animal cap. Overall, very happy to leave Fairfield as a whole, and sincerely wish for Steve and Jacques to remain well respected members of the staff.

The concierge staff is great and really hold this place together BUT, if you have any issues involving paperwork they’re incredibly unresponsive. They’ve been overcharging for keeping our pets here for over a year, and haven’t responded to our many attempts to get in contact with them about that.ALSO if you’re trying to break your. They won’t respond to your OR give you the run around for months at a time. As far as financially and communications are concerned (aside the concierge staff) this is the most unprofessional place to live that we’ve ever been to!

I have been living in this building for 2 months, and I cannot be happier with the decision I made in moving into this Fairfield property. The concierge service is out of this world, super handy and friendly. Carmela and her team has been an absolute blessing to this buidling. They carry packages to apartments, if your not home will open the apartment if you have a delivery etc. The apartment itself is top notch, and the amenities are also amazing. Just want to the thank Carmela and her team, leasing consultant Stephanie who also has been extremely helpful and amazing for making my first 2 months in the building flawless. Thank you all!!!
