Been to this Pharmacy 3 times and all 3 times it was just me on the Pharmacy line to pick up medication for my son & the workers see you but they're all hoping their co worker comes to the register instead of stepping up to do their job. I watched one of them stock the same meds over & over hoping I would go away and then got turned away and was told that my script was never filled The rest of the store is great no issues but I will never use Walgreens pharmacy anywhere. Today I came back and I waited again for an hour after I was told they had to ask the pharmacist where the meds were.. so I called while on the line to see if could get their attention on the phone. I was told my meds where ready. Now I call them over and mention that I am still waiting yet someone just told me that they are ready.

This place should really have ZERO stars. The pharmacy and all its staff are horrible at their jobs! Extremely rude, unprofessional, and disorganized. A bunch of disgruntled employees who are incompetent. I've gone to this particular Walgreens for 15 years and this place has progressively worsened over the last couple of years. Don't try to get your prescriptions filled here. There is ALWAYS a problem; you will wait and be ignored in the drive-thru and at a register. Each employee will give you a different response. It's the most frustrating place to have to deal with regularly. Please fire your entire pharmacy staff and start over because they suck!

I wish they would give you the option for 0 stars this Pharmacy is the worst. If you're busy - hire more employees. These girls are always such bitches they make it a problem always when I go in to get my medicine. If you ask ONE QUESTION they become so nasty like you're inconveniencing THEIR day. Last time I checked it was their job to help us and not feel like an asshole for asking questions.This pharmacy has been like this for WAY too long and the moment I started expressing this to friends and family EVERYONE agreed!!!!Fire or train these employees read your reviews. Do the public a service and figure this out. From now on I'll be inconvenienced to go somewhere further away now. Thanks a lot girls!

After several trips to this Walgreens to fill a prescription for my wife's thyroid medicine, between on the phone for three hours trying to resolve an issue that they told us the prescription wasn't due for refill. Meanwhile, it was a new prescription that they knowledge receiving, finally resolved after getting the insurance company, Xpress, scripts, and Walgreens Pharmacy, they told us the prescription would be ready in three hours. Well, we got there in four hours waiting online again to find out that the drug is not in stock. They did not know this earlier they do not know how to run a business, let alone a pharmacy which is dealing with peoples lives. I hope upper management reads this takes appropriate action

They do not pick up the phone at the pharmacy. On 10/23 I was on hold for 1 hour. I had to call the store managers extension to get them to pickup the phone. When they finally answerd the phone they hung up while they we looking up my info.

This pharmacy is terrible. When it works, it is very slow. I have waited over 20 minutes in line to pick up prescriptions and it's never quick usually requiring at least 15 minutes. They seem to be very lightly staffed while handling a large volume of customers. Lately, when I order a refill on-line, they can't fill the prescription and report back to me that it is "due to a technical error" which requires me to call or to visit. I've tried both. When I called, I waited 31 minutes on hold for them to tell me "no problem we can refill that". When I asked what the "technical error" was all about, they had no explaination. I then had to visit the store the next day to pick my prescription up and wait at the drive up window 10 minutes just for someone to come to the window!My wife also had the same "technical error" and instead of calling, she waited on line at the store and they said they could refill it. She had to go home and come back and wait on a long line again to pick it up!!!Walgreens Corporate should really look into the management of this pharmacy as it appears they're getting a fairly high ratio of bad reviews both here on Yelp and on Google too. I'm moving my prescriptions back to CVS or to Stop and Shop Pharmacy. My time is too valuable to waste on line at this pharmacy.

The pharmacy is a mess I went in to pick up Simple prescription for my daughter and the girl could not find my insurance information. I put the insurance company on the line and they gave her the same exact information that was on my card and told her that the plan was active. The entire time she was going around doing different things and leaving me on awkward halls with the insurance company until she finished the next taskx that she was doing. Then she went out to take the garbage out and thin one of the pharmacist came to help me and she found my insurance right away after looking at my card and punching in the same information. What a horrible waste of an hour and a half

I made appointment last night (08/16/2021) for a covid test at Miller Place, NY for 12:30 this afternoon (08/17/2021) after possibly being exposed by a family member. I received a confirmation email the the appointment at 6:30 am this morning. I arrived punctually at 12:15 for my test with proper identification and confirmation email in hand. I was told that due to unforeseen circumstances that all appointments were canceled for today. I was offered another appointment. However, I was assured if i visited their Wading River location they would absolutely be able to test me. The employee assured me "100% absolutely." That seemed like only a minor inconvenience so I traveled a few miles to the Wading River location. Upon arrival at their drive up Pharmacy, I was told that they were unable to administer a covid test because they did not have my "papers." They never offered me papers to fill out. Simply turned me away. I was told to call 1-800-walgreens if I had any concerns. I did call. Their automated message claims they are committed to excellent customer service. I did not receive excellent service. I was just told to travel around to multiple locations to possibly spread or contract Covid. I am fully vaccinated as is my family member who has recently tested positive. I was attempting to do my part to slow the spread. After waiting 20 minutes on hold, I was able to speak with a customer service representative. I left my information and was assured the District Manager would contact me in 3-5 days... well see about that commitment to "excellent customer service."

This is the WORST walgreens on the island! They are very rude and do not help when you have a problem. The store and pharmacy is horrible. This is my home town walgreens BUT I would rather drive 5 miles or more to not go to this walgreens. I have never had suck issues with any store like this one. They should just close down OR get all new associates! I'm sure there are other people not happy with this store but are afraid to speak up. Speaking up is the only way you can tell other people about what's happening so they don't go there and make the same mistakes!

I had Hip Replacement surgery last week and the doctor sent in 4 scripts and the pharmacist refused to fill the order, the only reason given was that other patients were ahead of me, Unbelievable!

Pharmaceutical department has not alway been helpful or courteous, they’ve been downright rude. I wish I had names, because only once did I get a girl at the counter who was helpful. I am giving serious thought to switching back to Walgreens.
