“This is a hardware store that has been in Middletown for a long time. I always have a good experience when I go there. Unfortunately, I tend to forget about them and often go to Lowe's or Home Depot for my hardware needs. I am going to really try and make a conscious effort to go to A & G in the future instead. This is because regardless of what you are looking for, if you need guidance on a project or in what type of item you need for a project, the service at this store in unparalleled. They will stay with you and answer all your questions and provide suggestions also. They have a little bit of everything you may need in general household repairs. My most recent visit required me to find parts for a hot water heater installation and I felt a little over my head on knowing what I would need for this project. I was helped immediately and shown all the supplies I would need for the installation. I am great full for their help and will continue to ship there whenever I need supplies.”

“I've been with the company almost 4 years. Great products & program. Ownership is supportive, compensation is more than fair but you are expected to follow the program, work hard and you will bb succesful . The owners have gone above and beyond for me personally when it is was a struggle early on as I was rebuilding a somewhat neglected territory. The Sales VP will work and train you as needed. The Warehouse and office people are a great support and make the salespeople look good!”

“I would highly recommend this business for all fireplace/chimney needs.I purchased a new pellet stove and the saleswoman was patient, kind and friendly! She helped me make the best choice and didn’t try to oversell me anything!The install was amazing!You won’t find a better business. “Love going into Home Depot during Christmas time. They have great decorations! I will say there was a shortness of staff today which was very frustrating for all. Aisles were packed with merchandise though so that's always a good thing. Aside from Christmas time, my family and I purchase all of our major appliances from here. Their delivery service has always been on point! We have never had any issues with delivery or them setting up an appliance for us.”

“Usually a good experience.Update on Lowes. Bought a dishwasher here on 12/2/23. They told me delivery and installation would be within two weeks. A month went by and nada! Called the store a total of 36 times trying to find out what happened. Mostly the phone wasn't answered (customer service) or I was told it was being processed. Finally I stormed up there (Middletown) to see what was going on. Was told they had lost the order. I had already paid in full for the whole thing.I canceled the order, went to Appliance City and had the product delivered and installed in 5 days.Done with Lowe's. Completely unresponsive and uncaring.Grade F.”

“I was shopping for a house plant for a friend and the first place I thought of was Lowes. They always have such beautiful flowers and plants so I naturally wanted to try them first. They met my expectation instantly because I was thinking of a snake plant since theyre so easy to care for and hard to kill. (which is necessary for my friend who has a black thumb rather than a green one) From what I understand Snake plants are the perfect starter plant. She loved it and its proudly displayed in her living room right now! Update. Went back and bought a patio furniture set. I fell in love with this set immediately. I sat on it (despite not seeing the sign saying please dont sit on display furniture) oops! It has such thick comfy cushions.. and it's super sturdy. Price was great too.”
