You are wasting your time to go to this gym. It is expensive and not clean. Lockers don't work. Bathroom never has what you need. Manager is completely unhelpful and not understanding whatsoever. And, by signing this membership contract you are literally selling your soul because you will then have to pay extra charges and fees upon cancelling. And, if you don't pay it, manager will refuse to be helpful and fair. Instead, you will receive a debt collector's notice. Fun!

I'm a new member here and I have to say I have not had any issues. Iv felt with a few of the staff members and they have been friendly and helpful! Not saying other reviews are false, we all have different experiences! Closing a few minutes early as people mentioned isn't a huge deal! They want to go home too and are probably tired so closing a few minutes early won't kill you. I promise.

update. Its been a week since the cockroaches have been spotted in the sauna. The manager done nothing to fix this issue (you would think she would at least clean it). Management doesn't respond to voicemails or emails from numerous members complaining. Trash cans over flowing at 5am and still no toilet paper in the morning. I see now people use tissues. The owner probably has no idea but if you wonder why your gym has constant drain clogging you might want to at least stock your bathrooms. smh

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend prior to Eric being hired. But since he's been around the gym has been cleaner, more professional, and all an around pleasant experience.

I've been coming to this gym on and off since it opened. Reason being is that the staff there is unprofessional. Closing the gym early so they're in their car at 10, lackadaisical work ethic, sitting in their phone while at the front desk barely acknowledging you when you walk in the door, unkept bathrooms, and not enforcing proper gym etiquette. Noticed a big shift in the gyms atmosphere once Eric was hired as a manager. The gym has been kept clean and tidy, and while he's there the employees actually do their job. The days he's not though, is back to the same old routine. He is easy to get ahold of which is also rare, it's been next to impossible to get ahold of managers during normal business hours but he's very professional and the gym has benefited greatly since he's been in the manager position. You'd be a fool to make him step down or lose him, the gym has been much better since he's been there.

Not enough equipment, and what they do have unfortunately they don't have enough of, causing wait times for machines. Pretty minimalist gym, good for beginners, definitely not for experienced lifters thoughEdit: seeing Golds gym punctual response to this gives me hope! It's good to have a place of business that is responsive to criticism and listens to their users. Added another star because of the pleasant response. I will say, the staff and personnel there have always been great and helpful

im here to leave a good review because ive been coming here for a little over a year now and ever since eric started working ive seen tremendous improvement with how clean the gym and locker rooms are and how good the environment is. that goes for all the workers too the guys are great and keep a great environment at golds gym. i'm happy to call myself a member!

Great Gym. Not that big but nicely equipped.Place is always being maintained and cleaned by staff who are very friendly.Mornings and afternoons are great times to workout.

Had a great employee experience with Cody today. Cody was actually walking around the gym checking in on people unlike most people who just sit behind the desk and gave me great advice on my squat form. In my experience, even in the fitness community it is rare to find someone with true competency regarding squat form. I'm a 28 year old physician with a +500 squat and in my opinion, this young gentleman was well educated, informed and polite. Ive been lifting at this gym for quite a while and i cant stress enough how great this gym really is, its clean, all machines work great, bars are clean and aren't bent (which is very rare at a commercial gym), dumbbells go up decently heavy (125lb dumbbells). i have zero complains here all the workers are friendly everything works super smooth and overall is an amazing experience. I've only seen stuff broken once and was repaired extremely fast. everything is so clean and the indoor turf is a very cool addition and a great place to stretch before you hit a lift. i strongly recommend this gym to anyone, it has something for everybody, just gets a bit crowded at 5ish but so does every gym.
