I am a long term HSBC now Citizens customer. The only ATM is a drive thru. I have tried four times to make a cash deposit only to have the machine reject it. There is no other ATM to use. I have complained to the branch manager who says sorry please come in to make the deposit and we will look into why the machine doesn’t work. As I said four times? Maybe they should get a new machine and build another one outsideBottom line don’t bank at this branch. Unfortunately the closest branch is two towns over.

This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. They took money out of my bill pay for NO reason considering I haven’t used this card in years and refuse to give it back. I will go out of my way to find a branch and go in!!!!!!! I closed out my account and will never use them again. Stealers

FYI: I went into Investors Bank on Merrick Rd to get a letter notarized. When they asked if I were a customer, I informed them my wife has a substantial account. The manager then stated notarizations were "for customers only." Um ... WTF? In desperation, I went to TD Bank down the block. A bit shellshocked, I stated forthwith that I wasn't an account holder. "That doesn't really matter," and before I knew it, I was notarized. I told them what happened at Investors, and the guy was a bit incredulous: "Wow. Are they, like, complete weirdos?" Needless to say, I'm now a TD Bank customer.

If I could give a no star rating for Investors Bank on Merri k Road in Merrick, NY I would. I have a very SMALL account... I can't begin to say just how many times I have had problems with this bank. Today I go in with my Passbook Savings Account to withdraw some cash to pay for carpeting being delivered today and AGAIN there is a problem with my account and they claim that the amount I see as my balance is incorrect. I don't have that much money there. How is that possible. Unfortunately today was the last straw. I'm office from work on Monday and will open a new account at another Bank.
