“The owner was so nice. I'm thankful for being able to give one of those beautiful bunnies a home away from home.It was so clean and organized too. Love, love, love.”

“What a wonderful organization and cause. Plenty of volunteer opportunities covering many areas. Open to all veterans AND their families. Canteen lunch on Wednesdays. A renowned service dog training facility. Views for days and much to do on the grounds. I definitely recommend stopping in, volunteering, or sharing with someone who might enjoy the opportunity to connect with our veterans. Bless the USA!”

“Two of my children have or are currently attending the daycare/preschool programs at The Growing Place. I can’t say enough good things about the director, staff and programs they run. I drop off with peace of mind knowing that my child is well cared for in a safe, fun learning environment. Both of my children were a little delayed with their speech, and within a few short weeks of attending TGP, I saw so much progression. They are also easy to work with in terms of allowing my son’s Early Intervention specialists come into the facility to provide his services. 10/10 recommend!”

“My one bad experience: We adopted another dog, Carl, back in 2021. I brought in 80 LBS of dog food for donation. I carried them in and asked one of the roving employees where I take this food to drop off. The employee looks at me, scoffs, and proceeds to shout to the receptionist, "Hey, did we get that check for 1.5 million dollars in today from such-n-such foundation?" Then proceeds to just walk away. This takes up way too much mental real estate for some reason. They do an amazing job of saving dogs from kill shelters down south. They rehab dogs into fosters to acclimate and gauge behavior before being allowed to adopt, which I believe is a whole lot better for the puppers. We adopted Stuart (formerly Chevy) from here, and have been loving every minute with him!”
