Beautiful park but needs an upgrade! In this beautiful fantastic town, the locals should look forward to a park of their dreams. This park has potential. I used AI software to update parts of the park. With bigger path walkways and changing the tree positioning, it would make this place look better. Take a look and see for yourself.

Snack shop at the end of the pier with decent dock fishing and a bait shop.Nice views. Decent fishing. Mix of locals and tourist. Watch parking and leaving, seems to always be busy in intervals. Great public space with a public restroom when unlocked.

Our recent visit to Harbor Island in Mamaroneck was a delightful experience that left us rejuvenated. This month, my wife and I spent a day enjoying the beautiful beach and serene shoreline. The picturesque views of the sea and the calming sound of the waves created the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The well-maintained beach offered a comfortable spot to unwind, and the opportunity to stroll along the shoreline was truly therapeutic. We appreciated the cleanliness and tranquility of the environment, which allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Harbor Island is an idyllic getaway for beach lovers and those seeking a peaceful coastal retreat. Our time there was well-spent, and we look forward to returning to this hidden gem in the future.

Visited during a weekday in July 2023. The beach, splash pad and the playground weren't busy and was quite pleasant. You have to pay to enter the main park and beach/splash pad separately. You can still enter if you're a non resident, with a fee. Lovely grounds and well kept for the size. Playground has some broken parts but doesn't stop kids from having fun. Playground is more for older kids. Splash pad and beach is family friendly for all ages. Friendly staff all around.

There is an $8 parking fee at entry.Spacious and beautiful park with a beach and fresh water sprinklers for the children to play in.There a walking paths all around that leads to different areas of the park.There is a marina, filled with yachts of all sizes, along with people kayak.Along the marina are beaches, that overlook the water.Be mindful that there are tons of birds to encounter.There are restrooms for both men and women.Playground: There is a regular playground with slides and such as well as a water playground.Restrooms: Separate restrooms for men and women

The park is very nice overall. By far the best part is the marine education centre run by Kyle Troy. There is a decent playground for younger kids. A lot of the room is dedicated to ball sports such as tennis and baseball. Parking will cost you $12.

Went for the playground, very big open space, but some parts of the playground were broken or missing. Restrooms available, pay for parking regardless of where you are going to in the harbor.
