Good selection of (over-priced) gifts, mainly toys and school supplies, but...they seem to hate kids being in there. Not friendly. Makes for a super unpleasant shopping/browsing experience, even when we're keeping a very close eye on our well-behaved kids!

First of all, when Yelp posted this they still had my old address. I changed it, but I want to make clear that I live in Larchmont, NY. This store is just a short walk from my home, and they sell lots of nice cards and toys, so in the past I have not minded paying their "shop local" higher prices. However, they don't give you an itemized receipt unless you ask, and when I asked for one today (when I had a total that seemed too high) it did not have descriptions of the items, just a list of prices. When I compared the prices to prices on what I had bought, I saw that they overcharged me on three items. When I called them after I discovered this, I was told they don't process refunds on credit card sales. I may go back to try to get what I'm owed, but otherwise I won't go back again.

way way way overpriced. they say they have a $20 credit card minimum which is the highest I've experienced. I had to grab more items to reach the minimum which felt very scammy. I will go here to look around and get ideas but never buy again.

This is the place to go if you're looking for: - 2nd hand /used items, often broken, sold as new with a 200% markup - a return policy that covers you up until the moment you walk out the door - looking to buy an item past it's expiration date - to be treated either 1) as a major nuisance, 2) potential thief or 3) or you have a strong desire to interact with the most miserable person in larchmont If your needs fall into any of these areas, you can't miss here. The place is a virus.

The prices are terrible and the service is worse. Think twice before shopping here. Or just avoid them entirely.I think the intention by the store, upon reflection, is to charge high prices, and for customers that purchase, they then play “gotcha” with their no returns policy. This is a terrible way to run a business, sacrificing long term customer loyalty and trust for short term gains from price gouging. I am surprised that they have been in business for as long as they have, especially considering some of the other reviews here and elsewhere.The Facts: We purchased a lego for my daughter a few days ago and had to return it, unopened. When we brought it in the store clerk was extremely rude and they refused to take the return, either for cash or for credit. They cited store policy that all sales are final.To add insult to injury, it turns out the item was extremely badly priced. The lego cost 110 on Amazon and the store was charging 200. I bear some responsibility for not catching this price disparity at the point of sale.I love supporting local businesses, but I will never shop here again.

The owner accused me of breaking a mug that I bought there for my mother and wouldn't exchange it for me. They are rude and thieves. Do not shop there or support such business.
