They help poor people but to attract good shoppers they fail as they have an extremely inefficient system of only letting one person at a time into the boutique where people can find more quality. The manager and volunteers have an attitude. If you're lucky, someone tells you that you need to put your name on the list to shop in the boutique. Then you still have to wait half an hour or more until your name is called. I mean: Who does that?? Certainly not people who value to be respected with their time or who have a job.

Everyone here is always super sweet and super helpful. I am very much thankful that they have this here for people who need a little extra help every now and then. The first time coming here the staff was warm and welcoming and they helped me quickly and efficiently!

I was a single parent of 3 beautiful children, and had the pleasure to be helped by people's place way back when they were still on Broadway. I now have the pleasure of giving to the community with my services of mastering the Mind based on my own experiences and my journey in life to teach others to ride the storm of their struggles in life. As far has been a great success and gives me great pleasure to give back to the community that helped me when I needed it. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and dedication you are all beautiful souls and your dedication does not go unrecognized. What people's place do for the community is so much more than a blessing, and I am honored to be a part in helping . The people at this establishment are always smiling and very welcoming. I get to pick what I need instead of being giving whatever they are trying to get rid of. This is one of the most organized food pantries I have been too. Also, the thrift store has some really good items at great prices. All in all, they definitely deserve the 5 stars.

great food pantry but most clothes donated are tossed out and too many fancy plates cups and vases ,not enough practical kitchand house wares!!the clothes selection is quite small . there are also 11 payed staff there.too much for a non profit!!!!!!!!!!!get rid of payed staff and will have more for the poor!!
