“In my busy day I rushed in to pay for gas & at the same time get change of money not realizing what I was doing the cashier calmly tried to make sense of what I actually wanted & made me realize I had to slow down long enough to make sense of things especially things that are as important as money. I felt so bad that I couldn't stop apologizing for my nonsense, but he was a gentleman & smiled & said "slow down & things will get better for you now go and enjoy your day and if I don't see you again happy holidays and have a good life." I was feeling like a lil piece of terd, yet I was blessed in how kind & patient he was with me. I'm definitely going there again & recommend anyone else as well. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE STAY SAFE.”

“Editing this review from a one star to Five Star because I'm so so very pleased with how things were handled this morning. At approximately 7:50 a.m. I received a call from Vicky one of the owners at AAA. She had received my email and advised that I would be having a service call at 10:00 a.m. she also apologized for how their call center had handled my call last night. At 9:30 a.m. John, the same gentleman who cleaned my furnace yesterday, arrived. He also bled the line for air leaks and the furnace still kicked off. He then began troubleshooting and upon looking at the CAD cell (electronic eye) determined by its discoloration that it may be bad. Upon replacing it, and staying to make for the furnace stayed on, shut off and turned on again, he left. Thank you AAA Fuel & Services, repairman John and owner Vicky for resolving this issue so quickly.I'm very disappointed with Aaa Fuel & Services Inc right now. I've sent a private message on their website and email, detailing my issue. I hope they do the right thing tomorrow morning so I can edit this poor review.”

“Often the cheapest gas around (downtown) and the clerk(s) in the store are friendly enough for me. Generally, the store and the pump islands are kept clean and presentable. Well lit for those early morning fill ups. I use them whenever I'm in that area and need fuel or snacks. I've had zero bad experiences at this location.”

“I love to support my local businesses, whenever possible. So, I decided to take a walk to the local corner store/gas station at Stewart's Shops.I love the cleanliness - a big thing to me, the variety of choices, the store is well kept, it smells great in there (food & their coffee), prices are reasonable, and the best part? They have an AWESOME staff. Such wonderful customer service from each team member there, pleasantly surprised me. I will enjoy spending money there. The staff was so helpful, engaging, and genuinely care about their customers. It wasn't just one employee, the entire team is AMAZING.So, here's an extra special THANK YOU to the team at this Stewart's Shops: Elizabeth, Phil, Caesar, & Dominic! Keep up the great job & service. “The other day (Thursday) after coming back from an Uber run as an Uber driver, I ended up stopping here to get some gas using my GasBuddy card, and although my GasBuddy card only works outside, I could find few problems with my transaction. Things were clean, though there were no other cars filling up alongside me. I can't even say it's a problem of mine, but I never did know that Citgo has their own gas-savings/rewards card out there. I saw an application to fill out for this card at the pumps, but I had my own form of gas-saving/rewards card with GasBuddy that I was dealing with. I just wish it wouldn't be geared towards those with insertable cards to start it off, as I bet my other brother has a card already and was hoping you'd have a way to enter a phone number or similar at the pumps to get the same discount. I'm thankful I don't have to go through all that rigmarole with GasBuddy at my side. I can't stand always saying what seems to be the same thing in all my gas reviews. But when you figure in all the possible places with only pay-at-the-pump conditions, you get the picture that I have few other choices to choose from in what to say. But it hasn't been just me that has stopped in. My brother also stops in on occasion - though his experiences are sparse and outdated, and besides they are his spot to get a short car-wash which is also present on site. (This experience I can't back up, as I myself have never used this location's wash, as I find better prices and services elsewhere that make this car wash unnecessary and pricey.)”

“When this place was the former Hess station, rarely if ever, did I ever come into this store. I felt it to be too far from the jobs I was working at and since this store seemed to never be open when I needed it, I never stopped here years ago. But ever since I left my jobs near your competitors who were closer to my work, I've been finding myself coming into this store and gas station quite an awful lot. (I've even created a Speedy Rewards account as well). But from my observations starting back in January 2017, one experience isn't like any of the others. Every time I walk in here, there's always some fresh new employee on the register. I'm either going in to buy a Freal shake or to put money on my 3¢off Speedy Cash Gas card, and every time, I get what I pay for. I really don't like that there's no LTE in this region (so check-ins aren't an option on a common mobile app for this store) but that's not too big of a problem for me. I come in routinely now; between my brother and family and I, it seems like we never get to go any place else to get gas or some of our real quick stop-ins for a quick snack when nearby. In tonight's journey in (where my mom came in and got gas for two cars) and put a boatload of money on a Gas card she had, after having paid to add money to a gas card then coming out to begin pumping while entering my rewards number, she had problems getting the gas card to accept at two pumps (pump #4 and later pump #1). After entering the Alternate ID for the rewards card, it would ask for the card (we'd swipe it and all it would do is say "Please wait". We'd wait and it would just stand there for several minutes.) When we went in to gather someone to actually get them out to observe (they had two people working the shop inside), the employee finally observed and got it to go through but almost didn't trigger the Alternate ID at the pump. Ugh! If the other nearby Kingston, NY location ( wouldn't be as grumpy as they seem to be when we enter, I would have said "let's go there instead tonight", but we attempted here and got results to get it to work. What my mother was really concerned about was that the sign says 10cent difference if you use the gas card, but after checking my Speedy Rewards app, that problem is only a once in a lifetime if you'd like to redeem points (which at this point I'm not willing to do!)”

So far the price is lower after the discount.And the gas is good.Some workers are not that friendly at times but very respectful.Maybe because they are under payed. But have no choice to get another job.As you know Kingston is limited on good paying jobs.”

“I came in here a few weeks ago (middle of September) into this QCExpress (across from the bigger regular QuickChek) because I needed some teas both for my mother and I as we were both feeling dehydrated and there was a larger trip planned for later that day, and although I rarely come in for anything, when I got in and found everything quick and easy to find and easy to bring up to the register, and without really many people in line and the employee dealing with customers quickly when my two Snapple teas and one M&M Peanut bag came through, this made the transaction easy for them and they thanked me for the quick and easy order - keeping the line moving. I do like having the ability to get sandwiches like your newer location across the street, but when ease of finding is necessary and the items should be easy and we are in the area, it's always good to continue to come in. It's just all these factors do come into play that makes a trip to this location not-so-common, and what motivates me to stop into the bigger QuickCheck nearby instead of this location.”

“Thomas works Tuesday through Saturday 10pm to 7am ...he makes the absolute best sandwiches out of all the people in the kingston area. I mean somthing you can be proud of. My wife and I specifically look for him because our order is ALWAYS right. 10/10 if he is working if not then 6/10 but you can tell they are lacking.”

“I travel alot and my stops are always stewarts in different areas for coffee,snack and to use the bathroom . This shop the manager Donna is always so nice and every one of the staff greets me as soon as the door opens. It's so nice makes me smile. Then the coffee is always fresh and my boyfriend appreciates that then last is the bathroom, it is the cleanest so far in any stewarts even the new ones. So thank you very much fir your service.”
