Manager has a bad attitude and he doesn't know how to talk to people. He didn't really help me when I needed it. Bought a phone there right out of a box and it was broken and they want me to pay full price for another one .

cricket itself is great. the store manager at this location pretends to be a clueless young employee, and the price is NEVER what they quote in store for a phone. also, if you change your mind and want adifferent one in the first week, this branch DOES NOT do this. ir gives excuses

I was so impressed with how wonderful the customer service was when going through the process of buying new phones and transferring lines. We had some complications with Apple and Verizon but the staff was great with helping us work everything out! Brandyn was especially helpful and went out of their way to help us anyway they could, which is greatly appreciated! With the stress of trying to figure out the issues with the phones, they made it a much easier process and I would recommend Cricket and especially this specific location to absolutely anyone!

Brandy and Lela where absolutely amazing. The conversation was uplifting and fun, considering the day I was having. My ex turned my phone off due to some unfortunate threats, Brandy totally understood and worked really hard (the internet kept going out every 20 mins) to get my phone hooked up in my name with the acp program. I would recommend the Kingston Plaza cricket store to anyone in a heartbeat! The only cell store you can go in and be treated like a friend, have fun, and walk away happy. Brandy was amazing under pressure due to internet issues! Give that lady a Raise!!! She deserves it. Thank you Brandy and Lela, you both lifted my spirits!!

The worst experience I’ve had purchasing phones. Friendly until there is a problem or you call them out on not being truthful. Employee (young blond girl) repeatedly lied about pricing and return policy (I should’ve read for myself rather than trust what they verbalized to me, but I was naive and trusted what they said). Brandy the manager was extremely aggressive and misleading. She was uncomfortably pushy. Completely manipulated me to make the sale. I recommend you RECORD your entire experience and interaction in the store because they will challenge everything you say but tell you what you want to hear to make the sale. I’m disgusted with their business practices, and as soon as my month is up plan on switching to a different company. I’d much rather pay more to deal with honest people. They said activation fees were being waved, that my bill would stay the same, that accessories were being included at no extra cost. When I asked about the return policy, I was told I had one week- not that I would be stuck paying for all accessories that they included for free or opened themselves and put on the phone. Maybe at another location a customer might have a different experience. I’ve attempted to contact customer service and corporate over a dozen times and get transferred to the wrong extension or hung up on because they aren’t equipped to resolve the issue. I had two representatives tell me I would get a full refund and that the upcoming payment wouldn’t be withdrawn from my account. After the first one said this I checked my cricket app account and noticed it still had the upcoming pending payment so I called and spoke to the next representative and she assured me it was fixed. I told her I wanted confirmation before we got off the phone and she hung up and now I cannot sign into my account on the app. Username and password is accurate. Basically had to go to my bank and dispute the charges. My next step is the better business bureau because this is should be illegal. I cannot believe they do this to customers and are still able to operate a business.

Ask for Brandy! She is BY FAR, a rare customer service person! She goes above and beyond with service and is bright and polite and intelligent! She is the Manager at the Kingston, NY store in the Plaza. SHE KNOWS what customer service is. Rare these days!

Horrible experience with a very rude individual who held managerial status, “Brandy(?)” i believe. I felt that she was very condescending, and she was very pushy about upgrading to one of the more expensive models, rather than the one I wanted. My wife and I decided to take our business elsewhere.
