They sold me a plan without call options but said I have it included. Did not get any help through customer service. All in all, I would make sure everything is working as it is supposed to before you leave the store.

The Ulster Ave store has great customer service and our associate Kaelan was great. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very professional.

Employee did some shady stuff with approval from the manager. Without my knowledge and consent, they opened new phone lines for the devices I wanted to upgrade so they could get commission on the new phone lines. I found out through AT&T when the company notified me that my promotional prices for the devices would be voided in 30 days due to the new phone lines being opened thus making the sales invalid. Shady practices by staff AND manager!!

Jan. 18, 2024I wanted to make sure AT&T knows that they have several excellent and outstandingtechs at the Ulster Ave., Kingston, NY 12401 store.And while each has their own level of skills and knowledge, in the kingston store, the reason I say excellent or outstanding is they keep working on the issue or reason why a customer is there. This doesnt mean every issue is always resolved but staff who might not be able to resolve it will reach out to other staff for assistance in resolving difficult issues. If an issue can't be resolved, staff will provide information on what other options wereavailable.I dont remember the different names of the 3 or 4 different people who worked on my phones over the recent past but I did want the tech, Tara who helped me on Thurs evening, working continuously until the issue I brought my cell phones to the store was resolved. In whichever manner AT&T may give positive support or rewards to their excellent and outstanding staff, I wish to refer Tara, the staff who helped me to AT&T for that. Im giving Tara 5 stars positive ratings for the type of person and rep she is. AT&T is fortunate to have her as a staff member.Thank you TaraI gave my overall experience with AT&T 4 stars mainly how expensive and costly their products and services are. This has nothing to do with store staff. Im retired and disabled. I buy my cell phones based on both does it meet my needs( all, most or some), and cost (what can i afford). I cant afford AT&Ts prices (but all mobile phonecompanies sell at high compe-titive prices), but the least expensive phones available are very hard for me to use because of the small sizes of both the screens and the phones themselve; this has me buying and making payments on an expensive phone, Galaxy 21(? S or Plus) which had the largest screen of the least expensive phone of the expensive mobile phones (androids). I didnt give a lower rating to AT&T for the cost issue becauseAT&T has payment plans( not contracts), which was the only way to get a phone that met most of my need while on a fixed income/pension.Many times in life, one just has to do what you can with what you have or do without no matter how hard that is even though you tried your best to do what you needed to do in life.

Allen L was the best! I truly believe he cared for my needs. I caught him before his lunch break and we were there for a long time and told him I am sorry he missed his lunch break because of us. He was super nice and we purchased a lot of items for our phones and he took his time to make sure I got everything I needed. Will be back!

Tara at the Kingston, AT&T store was extremely helpful. She greeted us promptly for our appt(easily made from the App) and helped us set up a new phone and was so nice and knowledgeable. She also helped us save a little by adding some new programs and deleting some old ones that were obsolete from My Bill. It really made our day. Thank you Tara!

Sales Reps/Manager complete scammers! Went in 2 weeks ago because I was continuously getting text messages and emails I was eligible for an upgrade. Decided to go in and see what my phone was worth, spoke with the manager who took my phone, went into my settings, proceed to type all of the info into his iPad and told me my phone was worth the full trade in value of $830. I decided to proceed with the trade in, he asked which phone, color and storage option I wanted and went into the back to get the phone. He then passed me off to another Rep who would process the trade in. At this point we crunched numbers to figure out what the down payment would be so that we would not have to pay extra per month on our bill. It would have taken about another hour on top of the hour I already was in there to transfer all of the info from one phone to the other, I was told I could leave and bring the phone back within 30 days. I went back today to give my old phone back as the trade in and was told it was now only worth $350. The manager who told me the previous value was there, I pointed him out. He proceed to call me a liar that he would never give out numbers, he might have said it “could” be worth $830, AGAIN he input all of my phones information into his iPad to come out with the trade in value of $830. I proceeded to tell them that they scammed me and I would have never ever did the trade in if I was going to have to pay $1,000 for the phone. The manager was rude and told me they don't scam people and that’s not their jobs, well clearly they do!! They are completely unprofessional and I would not recommend this AT&T store, be careful of what they tell you. Might want to record what they say to you if you go in there so you have proof that they are liars and scammers! Shame on AT&T and the store manager should be completed ashamed of himself for treating customers this way. I will be looking for another carrier now when I have been an AT&T customer for a very long time but this guy really put a bad taste in my might about AT&T and how they treat their long time customers.

Nicole at the 1137 Ulster Avenue Kingston NY store, was very efficient, friendly, quick and knowledgeable! She really was very adept at her job. I would highly recommend her and this store to anyone in the future.

Customer Service was great very patient and understanding provided feedback and explanation to issue. And still had a smile even though I was aggravated at the issue, he helped me resolve it and quickly had me on my way with an eased spirit. He was phenomenal and the world should be filled with more like him

Really depends on whom you encounter, but my general experience is that no one in the store is much bothered to engage with customers. Standing there, looking for service? Yeah, we see you. We’ll get to you when we feel like it. Maybe we’ll acknowledge you. Maybe not. But give us your money.If you’re unlucky enough to get the passive aggressive representatives, it can be a torturous nightmare. If you get the representatives who value customer service, it can be pleasant, enjoyable, even.Two stars for the manager not training his staff consistently or not holding representatives accountable for bad service. I’ve been a customer for decades, but this last interaction has me seriously rethinking AT&T.

Matthew, Allan, Bethany and Dominic are fantastic, highly skilled professionals who generously and efficiently solved all of our problems and got us (elder and not too tech savvy types, in need of assistance) set up perfectly with a lovely new phone and extra help with our photos. Beyond 10 stars ! Thank you very much, to great AT & T staff in Kingston !
