Disheartening Experience and Unfair Charges
I hope this review finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the recent experiences I’ve had at your shop. It is disheartening to feel that, as a community member, I’m being taken advantage of instead of receiving honest and fair treatment.
During my visits to your shop, I have consistently found myself facing unexpectedly high bills. For instance, the $300 labor charge for a part that only costs $125 was particularly shocking. It leaves me questioning whether the charges truly reflect the work done or if there is an emphasis on maximizing profits at the expense of customer trust.
It is disconcerting to feel that the local mechanic, someone expected to be a trustworthy member of our community, prioritizes financial gain over honesty and fairness. As a customer, I believe transparency and integrity should be the foundation of any business, especially one that serves its neighbors.
I urge you to reconsider your pricing practices and prioritize building lasting relationships with customers based on trust and reliability. A community thrives when its members support each other, and it is my hope that you will align your business practices with these principles.

My 2015 Jeep Wrangler started making noise from the engine and hesitating. I called John’s garage and they said to bring it right over. After a careful assessment he determined the problem. The job was complex but he was done ahead of schedule and stayed within his estimate. On top of that he changed my oil and my transmission fluid at no extra charge. Went for a car inspection, 4 hours later see my car on the street and no phone call that it was ready. Go in to get it and all the guys are sitting around talking like a hangout with a ton of cars around to be worked on. Clearly not interested in working. Absolutely horrible customer service and no one seemed to know where the owner was or had answers for any questions. I should've known better when my breaks blew out a few weeks after inspection, opposite of hardworking.

I have been using this garage on and off for a a few years now. I have to say that the mechanic is very honest, in my opinion. I bough one of those car OEM readers called Micro Mechanic to see what was wrong with my car, and to evaluate the honesty of the mechanic. He was on point and charged me a bit less than the estimated cost of repair was when I looked it up online. I highly recommend John's garage. And I don't think they do rentals so I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about.
