I made two trips to Cayuga Lumber to get a part on a kitchen cabinet. On the first trip, I was told to come back and talk to Jon. On the second trip, I waited around for Jon, who seemed utterly interested in helping me. He told me in a condescending tone that my repair would require "a bit of work," and seemed to assume I wasn't up to the task. He mistakenly thought one part would work, then looked online for another one, which he was completely unable to explain. He finally said he had "a lot of work to do making thousands of dollars on kitchen installations" and "didn't have time for this." Worst of all, he endangered everyone's health by not wearing his mask over his nose! Avoid this crotchety, condescending dude at all costs!

One of our favorite places to buy lumber and building materials. The crew in the yard always makes sure our load is secured to the vehicles before leaving. They’ll help us wrap boards, twine if necessary, and flag if helpful. We don’t get this kind of treatment at any other Lumber store in Ithaca.
