I’d give zero stars if I could. The hours are incorrect, they are supposed to be open until 5 pm and I arrived at 3:45 pm and the employee was about to lock up the door. When I arrived they only had one car left, and EV with no charging cable (and not the car I originally reserved). I ended up taking it because I had no other choice but had to drive to upstate NY with no way of charging my car.
I dropped the car off a few days later while the location was closed. The lock box was very confusing (it’s not on the Hertz building but on the car garage). It’s been ten days since I returned the car and I still have no receipt. What’s more they’ve been charging my credit card the last TEN DAYS saying I’M late on the car rental. Worst experience with Hertz and it’s still not over. This place isn’t a real business.

They didn’t even answer for corporate when I went through them.
Hertz needs to audit this location and figure out what’s going on

Doesn't ever answer the phone. No phone service at all, can never get through to anyone. Makes transactions and rentals super difficult. Canceled my reservation because couldn't get through to answer simple question. Not worth it

The worst phone line customer service!It's not Inwood specifically, it's Hertz! I would suggest renting from here again even if I get a free day. It's like dealing with Ezpass!

Whatever happened to the hertz inwood location it was one of hertz best locations quite small but service immaculate joe is the best and very helpful unlike hertz in lynbrook with that nasty giza lady PLEASE BRING HERTZ INWOOD BACK!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT BOOK HERE OR WITH HERTZ AT ALL! They allowed a reservation to be placed for a time that they close. USUALLY companies that are actually good like NATIONAL CAR RENTAL they would catch their error and give you a call or an email at least. NOT HERTZ! They not only didn’t contact me despite seeing my reservation, their customer service was a long, arduous, and pointless waste of my time! The rep was nasty and offered no help at all, would not get me a supervisor and decided to put me into a call que that took almost another hour. I ended up booking with National, you in should just do the same

My mother in law came here a couple of days ago. Joe is the best. Always kind and helpful. This other guy he was working with is a joke. He was literally sitting there with his legs up on the chair and his girlfriend on his lap. So unprofesssional. Meanwhile, Joe is running around outside moving cars and cleaning them. I couldn’t believe a corporation like this that allows that. Joe was handling everything with customers there and this guy he’s working with is busy acting inappropriately with his girlfriend during work in a place of business with customers there. Joe was great but my mother in law and I will not be returning to this location. It is highly inappropriate and made her even feel uncomfortable to be standing there waiting. She could even tell on Joe’s face that he was embarrassed and uncomfortable as well from the situation. She said that his name was Spencer. Don’t go to him. Look for Joe. He will always help you.

Beware...do not rent a car here..bait and switch on their pricing. Hertz rental of Inwood are liars and thieves.Then if you dispute the claim, big bad bully Hertz corporation comes after you. Don't rent from Hertz, Dollar or Thrifty they are corporate thugs.Your Link does not work!

We got instant reply and got easy booking through the app and got confirmation but when we went to pick up car was not available. One car did not come back and second one what he had was under repair and could not give us assurance for getting on the same day after few hours or not..just little frustration…
