Bring your car in for one thing leave needing 7 other things the day you get it back. And the staff could be more polite to customers. They also don't listen when you say the car is disabled and can't move and end up breaking other things in the process.

I had a lug nut that was stuck on so tight that multiple mechanics tried to get off with heating coils and impact sockets that ended up breaking. Jason at Interlaken Auto had just the Right touch to get this fused lug nut off. I was sure that I was going to have to torch it and create a whole other list of problemsand. They alsosqueezed me in right before lunch time. Highly recommended

I was able to get a fairly quick appointment. I told them that the car was making a droning sound from the front of the car. i suggested checking the manifold since the wheel bearings had been done recently as well the muffler. The mechanic drove the car, heard the sound, and replaced the manifold, gaskets, and broke and replaced the O2 sensor. They kept the car overnight so they could drive it the next day.Seems the mechanic would notice the same sound he heard before he took out the manifold. I looked at the old manifold and saw no holes or even rust. I picked the car up and driving home a few blocks away, I could still hear the droning sound. I called immediately and said that it was still making the noise and asked if they would put it on the computer. I told her that I thought the sound was better but not gone. It was not better, I was just driving slowly going home a few blocks away. I carefully explained the noise on the return visit and it was diagnosed as a wheel bearing-the one that had been replaced two months prior. The first repair was over $900 and the second about 250 plus 68 to dismount and seal all four tires. All of the tires were inflated to 40 psi vs 32 and 35 and I checked them cold. I asked Becky for some consideration since the first repair was unnecessary and was a misdiagnosis. She claimed the car had two sounds and that I had said that someone told me the manifold was bad. Both untrue but suppose someone had told me that, wouldn't it btheir duty to diagnose it correctly? I certainly did not say that my car was making two different sounds. She has been unwilling to make any concession at all and all contact is initiated by me. She has done everything to deny any wrong on their part and used anything she can to get out of being fair with some partial reimbursement. In our last conversation she said she was going to go look at the manifold but has not called back. Never again.
