My experience with this company has been horrible. I paid a $3,500 deposit for kitchen cabinets months ago, and then my project got delayed. Once it picked back up and I was ready to have Florence come out and do a field measurement and finalize my kitchen cabinet selections, they inexplicably stopped responding to me. I have had several phone conversations with Greg, who tells me that I will receive a finalized quote via email from Victor, and then I never hear anything back. It is clear to me that they don't want my business for whatever reason. What a waste of my $3,500. If you are a homeowner, I would advise you to stay far away from this company. They are completely unprofessional and do not follow through on their word.

I've been a carpenter since 1984, I'm a second generation carpenter so I've been in lumberyards and supply house since I was ten,I've been in every lumberyard on long island at least onceToday I was in the eat Northport branch and was assisted by THE BEST YARDMAN in the business,Carlos,I'm not there very often however it's always a pleasure to be taken care of by this gentleman,he's the type of guy you hope will help you,but seldom find- a real proThe entire staff and business is wonderful,but he's a stand out

I just bought $325 in base moulding, which I previously made a much larger order at the end of 2020. I brought the moulding with me so they could match it up. Took delivery, inspected the pieces for any damage which one was cracked in half. No big deal, started cutting after confirming no other damage. Find out they sent slightly different moulding then what I brought in to match up. The manager said he could do nothing for me as I already cut. So apparently you can come into this location with moulding so they can match it and they still get it wrong but now it’s my problem. They offered to order what should have been ordered but would have to pay again.Thanks, will no longer be shopping here.

They were able to not only answer my questions but also fit my delivery in the next morning. I'll be recommending everyone I know in the area to these guys moving forward.

Went to try to get multiple parts for my deck railing which was damaged during the tropical storm. The deck is 15 years old. They didn't stock the balusters but the staff searched the yard hoping to possibly find one. No luck,so they actually researched a bit and sent me to a competitor. Great customer service.

Florence is such a well managed building supplies company. My contractor and I have been coming here for about a year now because I am remodeling my house. I have worked with almost all salesman at the counter and have not had a bad experience. I walk in and they all help me within five minutes. The showroom is clean and well displayed. The salesman are patient and show me around while explaining the best materials to use on my house. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

I bought some standard doors from Florence and had a very mediocre experience (many unreturned calls and emails). Later, I tried to order a couple odd size doors (I only called them again to make sure I would get matching doors) and the salesman refused to tell me over the phone if he could make the sizes I needed. He just kept repeating some nonsense about their protocols requiring in-person approval of all door. I explained that I was willing to go in IF they could actually make the door but I didn't want to drive one hour each way just to find out they couldn't. FINALLY, after having same exchange about 5 time he reluctantly checks and they CAN'T or WON'T make the size I need. The guy was going to completely waste two hours of my day and he wasn't even remotely apologetic. I quickly got off the phone with him but I'm pretty sure he was starting to tell me once again about their new policies and procedures! Terrible, awful.

Super helpful at counter everyone in yard should be fired. Prepare for at minimum a 30 min wait to just have someone get your ticket to pick you order
