I love this store. It has so many practical and beautiful gifts and items for sale. The cheese curds are fresh and delicious. There are locally made items for sale. It is a favorite stop of mine.It is also wonderful to drive here past so many quaint Amish farms. The local restaurant (I had breakfast at L.E.A.s) was really good too!!

Love this place. Eclectic gifts and general store items. Local artisans and Amish products/clothing. My favorite part was the safe in the closet that you could view and see the old candle marks on the wall from Pickens in the 1800s. So cool.

Local artisans, Amish furniture, household items, cheeses, books, just like the revered general store. Hard to find paraphernalia great atmosphere and people. A jewel in the North Country.

I always look forward to going to visit Pickens General Store to pick up fresh cheese curds and interesting regional food and crafts. We also love attending concerts in the third floor Pickens Hall Opera House. We recently saw “Runaway Home” from Nashville there again and they put on a wonderful show. Definitely a great place to visit if you are in the area.

This place sells cheese and meats. Also sells everything you need to bake and cook. The gift shop is full of Americana. The staff is great. Not over bearing or judgemental.

Stopped in to get a gift card for a sweet couple who just married. The bride loved the card..I loved that it was made environmentally safe. Bought the happy couple some beautiful kitchen towels. Was surprised the store is full of new seasonal things for autumn/winter. I'll be back in a jif for some holiday gifts♡
