Optimum is the only Cable option on Long Island, Prices super high.Long Islanders don't have another option. Just quit their TV boxes and I stream from the internet for free, $140 a month per TV box is armed robbery. Not Cable TV for me anymore I save 140 dollars a month.

I will start by sharing that I have had several requirements to make changes to services over the past 2 years due to life things so this info is current and true.This Company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life, pray you do not have to make any changes to your services(Changing Level of Service/Move/Canceling etc). If you do it will take hours on the phone, this is not s stab at the customer service reps themselves but you constantly get incompetent help only to get transferred and start all over again. It is so frustrating and stressful that I wonder if anyone has tried legal action. And the sadest thing is there's no other option in most cases. My suggestion is if you do have another option for Internet/TV Service DO NOT CHOOSE OPTIMUM.Also one side note recently switched from Cable to Fiber Service via Optimum and have constant issues, never issues with Cable, Switching back but dread the call.

The absolute worst company I am paying 320.00 a month for basic cable, a land line and internet. They raise the bill every three months.

I have spent at least 8 hours on the phone in the last two weeks and had two service appointments - still have issues. You ask to speak to a supervisor and they put you on hold then hang up, or they tell you someone will call you back in an hour. Well it’s been 3 hours now and no call back. No one knows what they are doing and they have no customer service skills. I can’t wait to get rid of them.

You will get scammed. I called spoke to a representative to disconnect. He offered me many other prices I declined. I recieved a bill, called again they said it was taken care of. Got another bill said I never disconnected.

All we wanted to do was transfer owners of the account. The sales people try to keep you on the phone for hours. They do anything they can to trick you into a new account. Then when you realize what happened, customer service will disagree with sales and say you should’ve never been forced into an upgrade. After that we have connections go on and off for days. Mostly off because sales keeps saying we need a new account and customer service says we need a transfer. It’s hours of pain
