I have lived in Harriman Woods apt for 2 years, I used to consider this community was very clear and reasonable. However, when we suffer the hurricane(Sandy) attack, I have totally change my mind. This company did not do any thing after the power outage, of course this is the natural disaster, but their responsibility is maintain the heat and hot water as much as possible. They did not setup the generator for their tenants, the low temperature let us need to stay in hotel and had cause the great deal of money. There are so many people lost the money due to the hurricane attack, but this company earn the money from the natural disaster. Because they do not need to provide the heat and hot water for their tenants, because the power outage. And they also did not setup the generator to keep the boiler running, they save the gasoline for their-self.They even don't want to reimburse the credit of one week rental in the next bill. They always do any repair late, but never delay put the notice to ask you pay the rental on time. The super did not ask around the tenants to see if they need any help, but only one thing he did was leave the payment notice to every tenant after one day of hurricane attack us.If you plan to move in this community, I will suggest you reconsider your decision.
