This quaint general store has been the beating heart of the Chippewa Bay river community for decades, and especially recently thanks to the wonderful stewardship of Luanne. You’ll find gas, beer, basic foods—no less or more than you’d need for a perfect day on the River.

I called on Labor Day to ask if they would be open. They didn’t pickup, but I left a message and they called me back. They were, in fact, open. Five stars.

This is such a great little store and the owner Luann is always so welcoming every year! We always go there to gas up the boat and grab a few snacks for our adventures! Thank you for everything Luann and we will see you again next vacation!?

Great store with local produce and products, like River Rat cheese, and also essentials like ethanol-free gas, beer, snacks, dairy products, water, ice, all the basic necessities, bait, and much more. It is a family run establishment and the proprietress is hardworking, friendly and helpful. We couldn't live without this important local tradition.

Owner is a sweetheart, very pleasant, not a lot of groceries but I got gas and an ice cream sandwich and I was on my way.

Small store right next to Cedar Island Boat ramp. The lead manager is a great person, and when she is out the substitutes are always nice. Boat gas is 91octane no ethanol , cheaper than down river. Also new gas storage tank means security of gas only (no water like some other places). Basic place for soda, bread, coffee, candy, some fishing supplies, etc. can get a quick microwave sandwich. Husband up the road is about the most honest boat mechanic it is possible to be, and as an independent he is also at a good price (and sells batteries).

This little store is like stepping back in time! The soft wood floor and the doors that don't let anyone sneak up on you! They sell gas (!) for cars and boats, have fresh donuts on Tuesdays and Saturdays, farm fresh eggs with the brightest yellow yolks (sometimes you'll need to call first to make sure they didn't sell out), and of course, ALL the junkie snacks and cold beverages you could want. If you need to make a pit stop while driving down route 12, pick this spot - even has a bench and a picnic table for sitting and watching the river flow by!

This is THE cutest little local store ever! They have ice cream, chips, and BEER! As a part time local, I've been walking those floors bare foot my whole life and my feet have rarely touched anything so soft. Also, my kids love the gum-ball machines and they sell GAS!!!
