This is a decent place to shop. The store is clean and well stocked, several employees were constantly busy keeping shelves full. You'll find a variety of dried, canned and frozen foods, and most of these are at competitive prices. Some of the other, and some of the larger, items in the store may or may not be quite so competitively priced. For example, I've seen and purchased some home items at better prices at stores such as Home Goods and Job Lot. But there's none of those stores in the immediate vicinity, so this is probably your best bet locally for those types of goods.

The facility is generally clean and the staff are friendly. It has general medicine and food items, but like every Dollar General, it doesn't have much in the way of specific foods for people with restrictions.

I like it, but all Dollar General's are always chaotic because there is never enough help and stock is always in the way waiting to be put out, because, again, never enough help. The staff is always working like dogs trying to keep up. Hey corporate - Is that the business model? Or you can't keep help?

My purchase today was $7.33 and I gave the cashier $20.35. She gave me $3.02 change. I told her I gave her a $20 and she denied it and she called her manager. I said to her that she should have left the bill on the outside of the drawer until change was given. The manager was rude and said I can’t just give you back a ten. She then offered to count the drawer. I said okay and she took the drawer in the back room, came back two minutes later and said the drawer was correct. A cash drawer can’t be reconciled in two minutes and what’s the point if you don’t count the receipts with it. She also told me I could come back tonight to see another manager. When I suggested we call the authorities, she sarcastically said said “go ahead.”So I know I will never see the ten dollars and that mistakes can be made but the rudeness of this manager was unnecessary. Also, although there was a prominent sign calling for masks, no one but me had one on. Needless to say, I won’t be frequenting that store again.
