I just bought a new Kingsley Bate Teak outdoor dining set from Sundown and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the product and equally important...the wonderful customer service and support. I researched and looked at many options at various outdoor furniture stores but I always came back to Sundown because Johnny, one of the managers was so amazingly helpful, knowledgable and patient. I think I made the poor guy crazy with all my questions and uncertainty but he was always helpful, patient and so nice. I never felt pressured - he really wanted me to be happy with my purchase. I know Sundown is know for their winter and ski products but this is the 2nd summer furniture purchase I made from Sundown and they have been awesome both times. I highly recommend them.

Simply an amazing crew. Johnny (or Jonny, I'm not sure) was the one who helped me pick out my first pair of boots and bindings (I had already bought my own skis) and he was super kind, honest, and willing to compromise. I showed that the same pair I chose was online for a lower price and they matched that price without blinking an eye. Paul, the guy who did my bindings, did a wonderful job as well. These guys are the real deal. They have a large selection of clothes, accessories and furniture as well, although I didn't look into those as much. I decided to visit this place because of the good star rating, and it did not disappoint.

Hate to have to write this review but since I haven't had a follow up phone call from them in over a week, I'm left with no choice. We recently rented skis from Sundown in Greenvale. The skis were terribly worn and visibly damaged. But our original rental place was sold out. We went to Sundown and was "fitted" for the boots. At the time, I argued that the size was too small and they insisted it wasn't. The ill fit really showed on the slopes. They were too small, just as I argued! And the bindings kept popping and the boots would not click back in. We were forced to re-rent skis in VT to salvage our ski trip. Upon returning the skis, I informed Sundown that they rented us crappy skis and ill fitting boots. I asked for a refund for the days we were unable to use them and to cover some of the re-rental costs. They defended themselves and said they'd have to look at the video footage of the day we rented the skis and get back to us. THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO US. Thus this review. Zero for customer service. Zero for gear. Zero for this business. My advice, if Sundown didn't have decent equipment to rent, they shouldn't haven rented at all. Just say you're out of stock instead of leaving customers with a bad experience from renting with you.

This is definitely the best place around to get ski/snowboard gear.Staff member Paul is very patient, friendly and knowledgeable and he went above and beyond in helping us get the right gear for us at a very reasonable price.

I had the pleasure of doing business with Sundown today. It was truly a great customer service experience. I walked in with broken snowboard binders and walked out a short time later with my issue resolved. I was so pleased with the service John provided that I bought a new pair of boots and binders. John was very knowledgeable about my board and what my options were. He was also extremely courteous and speedy. This is definitely one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. The store also had a good array of equipment, clothing and accessories and all other employees were great as well. I will definitely visit again!!

My recent experience shopping at Sundown Ski & Patio was better than I ever could've imagined, and that was mostly due to an employee named Matt - who helped us every step of the way. Matt went above and beyond to make sure I found what I needed and gave pertinent pointers and advice in picking out the most effective gear. Having not been on the mountain in 5 years, I was so grateful to have his assistance in the store. Can't recommend him enough! Thanks Matt!!!

Save yourself time, money and the hassle of renting skis at the mountains and rent them at Sundown. Their rental process is fast and easy. The staff is patient, so helpful and knowledgeable.

Sundown is our go-to ski equipment rental place for my family. They offer discounted rentals the earlier in the season you rent. There is a nice supply of equipment, and they have accessories available to buy while you are there if you need socks, goggles, etc. I also bought skis from them a while back and they retune them each season. It can get crowded there and the parking lot is small so plan ahead accordingly.

Very kind, patient, and helpful staff. Explain what you need and your skill level and they will cater to it. The staff are all skiers and snowboarders themselves, they will know what you need. A good selection. I’m glad I came.

The ski shop staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. Paul and Johnny helped our family buy skis and boots and made the experience really easy and pleasant. We came on two separate occasions and they gave us balanced opinions and were not trying to push products on us at all. Overall, we felt very confident with our purchases and will definitely be back for any future ski equipment needs.

Great experience in purchasing a pair of ski boots for my son. Johnny did a very thorough and professional job in properly fitting my son with ski boots. I have purchased ski boots from Ski Stop and REI in the past and the boot fitting at Sundown was far superior. Johnny is a really nice guy and is very knowledgeable. I was surprised by the large selection they have at Sundown. It was my first time there and I never realized how big the shop is. It looks much smaller from the outside. I will be back. It is definitely the best ski shop in the area.
