Spent almost $400 here to support a local shop instead of a typical big box like Home Depot or Lowes where i usually shop. They had a variety of trees and plants, but the prices were a lot higher. I decided to buy 4 of the $80 dollar trees and a bunch of plants. Planted everything, including the trees in the same area along with 7 others from Home Depot (which sells trees for $20- $40). Out of all the trees planted, only two died from this store. Ok, that happens, I guess. The trees still have the tags on them from here, but I have long lost the receipt since i bought them early last year... called at least 6 different days and times to find the only person who could exchange the dead tagged trees for fresh ones. The 1 star is not because the trees died but after all that hassle I final got to Grace who in short said no receipt no credit or exchange and suggested I should buy new ones that are on sale right now. Buyer beware this place has the worst after you buy customer service. I'll stick to Big Box from now on.

DO NOT purchase a GIFT CARDI had a very unpleasant experience at Arbordale when trying to redeem a gift card that friends had gifted me. The nursery itself is quite delightful. However, I ran into poor Customer Service when I went to use my gift card and was told the card 'did not work'. While one staff member acknowledged recurring issues with Gift Cards and their 'system', another staff member indicated that she was doing me a 'favor' by researching the issue and suggested that I was attempting to use a stolen/already used card. When I returned to spend the Gift Card, a 2nd staff member acknowledged the ongoing issues with the Gift Cards. It would've been a very different experience had the staff accepted responsibility for the ongoing issue and provided me with the benefit of the doubt rather than accusing me of being dishonest.

Purchased 4 plants, $350. Brought a beautiful oak leaf hydrangea back because leaves and flowered were dying within two days and mealy bugs all over plant. The assistant manager, grace, Said i was crazy. She told me to take it home and that it was fine. I did so much research and i had to pick out bugs and place them on the counter so she could see them. She agreed and I got zero recommendation from her. Said I could not return or replace plant. Apparently they also had to get rid of of all the hydrangeas too. I asked that the owner call me to discuss this, and nobody called me back. I started a new garden bed and had no other plants so this was the only place they came from. Disappointed

We love Arbordale & MEG! We get our plants every year from this nursery and they are always beautiful and hearty. Meg is a so so helpful, friendly and makes you feel right at home. She will help you make your purchase easy and answer any questions you have. Can't praise her enough!

Thank you for your wonderful advice in finding better pots for my orchids. The staff were wonderful and the selection was awesome. I even found a better pot for my money tree. The small figurines are from there too! I will definitely go back for all of my plant needs. ❤️ ?

I had the best experience with this nurseries this week. I brought in a 20year old peace lilly from my grandma's funeral. It was in a massive pot but needed to be split and repotted. Jean was so kind and caring and spent hours taking care of my plant and splitting it into 5 different pots. First class service. I will be a customer for life! They also sell traegers and pellets. If you but enough... You get a better price on traeger brand pellets than on Amazon! Thank you Jean!!!

Went there to get an estimate on replacing a small tree. My information was taken and I was told someone would contact me. I even emailed a photograph about work to be done and I received a verification that the photo was received. A week went by and no one contacted me. I sent another email asking when someone would respond to me and I never received a reply. that was 2 weeks ago.

This is my go-to place for faerie garden supplies! They have such a nice selection of supplies that you can't find anywhere else and the prices weren't terrible either. They often have pieces on sale that aren't in season as well. I can't speak to anything else here though because fairy garden supplies are the only thing I've bought here.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. If they don’t know an answer they’ll find someone that does. The owner is a great guy and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He’s extremely helpful. Some items might be a bit pricier than the big chains but u deal with people that know plants not just a minimum wage body. There’s a reason why a mom and pop store can stay open and thrive for so many years! Rock solid nursery!

The general help is good. They sell gift cards that don't work and plants are all more$$than any other garden center I've been to. I was put on the spot for not having the reciept for the gift card by manager. Took a half an hour to straighten out and I was so exhausted by standing at register for so long I happily paid what the gift card didn't cover only to find out manager tacked on 10$ to price of plant listed on tag to make it as much as gift card was worth.

Have driven past Arbordale dozens of times but finally decided to stop in on my quest to find non-garbage bagged topsoil (The big box stores have horrible quality bagged topsoil). Arbordale had everything I was looking for to do a lawn renovation, and the quality of their products seems very good. Not only will we be returning, but will also recommend to family/friends looking for plants, soils, fertilizer, etc.Plus it's always nice to support local family-owned businesses.
