Enough is enough with protecting this manager. The manager that Claudia and Charlie are referring to is no other than Julie Stark. Everything Claudia and Charlie have said is typical Julie behavior and just goes to show she still hasn’t changed a bit since her managerial position at DSW. My heart breaks for the family of the girl with the disability who was rudely kicked out of the store. This goes to show that you can’t fix stupid, Julie made a terrible mistake at DSW by humiliating me in front of all my colleagues simply because she called me “special needs”. Let me remind you that I don’t have special needs, I have ADHD and dyscalculia, half the world has ADHD. Julie should be absolutely ashamed of herself and quite frankly Soma has no idea about Julie’s history. The fact that Soma has the same response for each review is quite pathetic. She only left DSW because she couldn’t deal with the backlash of the mistake she made, it looks like she didn’t learn from her first mistake, whoever decided to hire her at Soma is a complete idiot because they should have immediately looked into her previous employment. I am encouraging EVERYONE to call corporate to complain about Julie Stark, she should never and I mean ever be allowed to hold any type of managerial position again…Soma definitely needs to work on responding to people because they reply to everyone in the same way, so pathetic. Here’s just one of the screenshots I have where Julie Stark told me that because of my “limited” skillset I wasn’t a good fit at DSW. I think Soma should fire her pathetic a$$ immediately, why keep her with the awful record she has??

Extremely disappointing experience! My recent visit to your store left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. We were shocked when we were asked to wait outside the store because my niece's mall cart was deemed to be taking up too much space. Despite the store being relatively empty with only a few customers present, we were made to feel unwelcome and inconvenienced. My baby niece was not causing any disturbance, and I distinctly remember the friendly sales associates complimenting her. However, I believe it was the manager who rudely insisted that we wait outside due to the cart taking up space. This level of disrespect is unacceptable. We were customers ready to make a purchase but dropped everything and left. Never again!

My sister-in-law and niece were wrongfully kicked out of this store due to my niece being in a stroller. Is a child in a stroller against store rules?!? This makes absolutely no sense. I will no longer be supporting this company and their bogus rules and regulations.

Don’t shop here! They don’t deserve your well earned money! The managers are rude and obnoxious, going out of their way to target a mother with her autistic daughter in a stroller and forcing them to leave for no apparent reason. Please spend your money elsewhere, as Soma’s has already shown they are well off enough to lose a few customers and only choose to cater to neurotypical people. This is also discrimination, as they have denied service to someone with an ADA recognized disability without giving a reasonable accommodation.

This is ridiculous!. I can not imagine having to ask a Mom with an autistic daughter to get out of the store, just because she is taking too much of a space. This store should close because they don't have an ounce of humanity. Very sad!!!

If you have kids or have some kind of DISABILITY do not come to this store! The sales associates who helped with sizing were very friendly however I believe it was the manager that told me to leave and wait outside the store because I had a stroller for my autistic daughter! Apparently the stroller was taking up too much space. This stroller were the ones that they have at the Mall so I don’t understand how it was “too big”. When she said this I was extremely baffled and at a loss of words. We were paying customers ready to buy but had to leave the items there and immediately left. I can’t imagine them saying this to a person in a wheelchair.PS my daughter was in no way being disruptive she was sitting in the stroller quietly. And we only use the stroller for her because she gets overstimulated in a crowd so the stroller provides her comfort.Extremely disappointed.

Sadly, this past shopping trip is my last. Customer service is SEVERELY lacking at this location. It feels like asking for help with anything here is bothersome to the associates, who spent the entire time of my visit gossiping about other colleagues. I was not believed about my size and was told that I looked much larger size. One associate even snarkly asked me when was the last time I was there?! Although I was wearing a Soma bra, I asked to be measured to reconfirm, and in fact, I was the size that I stated (which is the size I was wearing). In the fitting room. I tried on a couple of styles and wanted to try in one or two different colors. This is the first SOMA where I was not assisted in this matter. I had to redress myself to come back to the floor and search for what I needed before going back to the fitting rooms to undress and retry. Anyone shopping for bras knows that this is discouraging and detracts from the experience. I would be more understanding if the store was busy. However, I was the only shopper in the store during that time. When I requested sizes in specific colors, I was told that "Everything we have is out - nothing is in the back." Neither associate moved towards my direction nor tried to elevate my shopping experience.Upon struggling through drawers, the associate who originally suggested that I was wrong about my size asked again, "And we're sure that's your size?" A little annoyed, but determined to complete my mission that day I let her know that her colleague measured me and confirmed. I'd normally take my time at SOMA and easily spend a few hundred dollars, but due to the lack of attentiveness and unwelcoming attitudes, I just wanted to get my things and go.Having exclusively purchased my bras from SOMA for the last ten years and loving them so much, I've turned many women in my family and friends group to the brand. While the store is beautiful, unfortunately, the experience is no longer pleasant.

The store is very nice. Customer service- not so much. I was there a couple weeks back. They did not believe I was the size I said I was (which it turns out- I was wrong anyways! I wear a 30g and I have been wearing a 32d/dd this whole time) I went in looking for a new bra, a 32dd and regarding my size I was asked "are you sure?" ..am I sure that I'm not a 34 band? Am i sure I even wear a D cup? One of the girls said "You don't look like a D" ..... like.. okay? Your eyes are not the proper tool. And THAT is not the right thing to say. I was not offered to be measured. I was given a 34d to try on. What?? I was made so uncomfortable for no reason. All I can think is that they didn't truly want to help. Soma is putting women in the wrong bras and poorly training their fitting "experts". I'm bringing this up now because I found my true size today.

I went to their location in Roosevelt field mall and had a great experience with a salesperson on the floor named toria who left shortly after, but at the register I was treated with disrespect having spent over $300 on merchandise. The manager (im assuming she's a manager because of her authority over the salespeople) overheard my conversation with the cashier when I expressed not wanting to leave my phone number for marketing purposes. The manager interjected and said to me very rudely that I cannot make any returns without a phone number even if I have the receipt . I find that very odd and is a business practice that I've never encountered in an establishment before so I was not aware of it. Regardless, I would have given my phone but the way I was spoken to again, was unnecessarily condescending by this staff member. I will not be shopping here again out of principle because of the poor customer service and attitude that I was given at the register. It's not what you say it's how you say it.

Lingerie store for White House Black Market & Chico— opened here October 2022. Located right next to the restroom on 1st floor of the mall. Tandy was giving white glove service like at Athleta. Beyond helpful in helping us find a nursing bra. Those are so hard to find when shopping online and getting the right fit. Tandy gave us guidance for the right fit and made our shopping experience amazing. Highly highly recommend stopping and shopping here!
