“I've been banking here since 1983, that's a long time. Now that they have expanded, there are more locations to do business. Years ago, while banking at this branch I had free 30 minutes parking in the Muni Lot, not anymore. However, my thanks to a very pleasant employee whom we met on Tues July 31st. His name is Joseph Perez who hails from The Bronx. While at the bank, Mr. Perez spent over an hour explaining new bank regs; he also graciously helped us make some adjustments to our existing accounts. This man is a hard worker. If only everyone were so kind, professional and caring--this would be a much nicer world. Thank you Mr. Perez! “I was there on Sat when the back was about to close in 1 min. My husband and I rushed in to open up an account and safety box. Chen Xia was the best customer service representative I have ever met. He helped me with the account without rushing me. He truly welcome the customers even at closing time. After everything was done, he explained the paperwork we were signing. Then we went downstairs to the safety deposit level. The female representative was mad. You can clearly tell on her face. She open up the box and one of the key was not easy to manage. She didn't want to fix it and gave it to us. I told her to make sure both keys worked before passing it to us. My husband was with her and I put stuffs in the box. I would recommend this place because of Chen Xia's service.”

“This review is currently based on one visit so take it with a large dose of salt. I visited this branch to open a checking account for my grandfather. We checked in by phone as required by the corona virus guidelines and waited for about an hour. The employee who helped us was knowledgeable and friendly. Additionally, the doorman actively aided clients who did not know how to check-in with their phones and directed them accordingly. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and if this visit is indicative of this entire branch's service then my grandfather is in good hands.”

“I need to activate my saving account and update my address and contact phone number on my recent trip to Cathay Bank (Nov 12, 2022 Saturday) Ms.Chen, Dong Jing (teller) took care of activation of my saving account but I need to go to their advisors for any account updates. All 3 advisors were busy with customers, so after waited for a while, Ms Chen stepped in (out of my expectation), she first checked with one of the advisor for forms need to be used then she called me back to the teller line and helped me filled in the form. If Ms Chen didn't stepped in ... I might still have to wait for another 30 minutes easily but she went above and beyond to help customer to minimize wait time and she also kept reminding me how and when to do to avoid account being inactivated and that's very impressive. Thanks Ms. Chen Then on Nov 15 2022, another representative Ms. Mei YAU called and remind me to activate my account if haven't done so, I told her about my magnificent experience on Nov 12 but I didn't get the name of the teller who helped me, Ms. Yau took the time and got the name so I can write this review. Thanks Mei Thank you very much Ms. Chen and Ms. Yau, you girls are definitely two of the gems in your bank”
