I took my cat there because I've been there before and all I asked for was bloodwork, they gave my cat some fluids etc and I attempted to pay but the machine was down so they asked me if the other location could charge and I agreed, when she called she was informed it would have to be charged the next day due to the machine being down and my results would be called to me on Friday but noone called so I called Saturday and was then informed the wifi was down and they couldn't log into the portal to check and once it was up and running someone would call but they didn't so I called back only to be told that I couldn't get my results until I paid my balance which I explained I gave my card and copy and they were to charge but all she said was that it wasn't charged and I proceeded to give my card information again but was told I must appear with the card physically and I couldn't get my results without it. I walked in the next day and wasn't even greeted Norma just stared at me and charged me 504 dollars, I ask for the supervisor to call me to discuss the way my issue was handled and she didn't even respond or apologize or even wish me a good day thats bad for business and own my business and know customers are what keeps us going. She's very RUDE and that wasnt the first time she's behaved that way. Never again!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My dog hasn't eaten in over a week without throwing up and constant diahrea. After spending $1000 on blood work; xrays and some medicine which arguably made him worse I was told to schedule a $600 ultrasound with their partnering imaging location. I was then told I'd have to provide a time frame of three days and hope that the doctor has an open spot that coincides with my availability. ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE of URGENCY.
The front of house staffs attitude is horrible. Completely stand off ish, they gatekeep you from speaking to doctor. I was told to follow up BY the doctor if my dog worsened which he did; the front staff either didn't forward my message and I was ignored or simply forgot, the doctor was then off the following day with no doctor on shift to assist. Possibly worsening his condition.
When I was finally seen again, the staff told my wife they lost my dogs chart as if that's OUR fault; the office was super packed with dogs and customers waiting outside. A clear sign of greed.
The doctor is charming and is quick to make you laugh and put you at ease but it's all a farce because actions speak louder than words. He also refused to believe my dog wasn't eating; as if I'd be spending $1000 and not be fully transparent.
Save your $ and go elsewhere where your pet is treated with the urgency they need.

Avoid Dr. Mucera as he likes to belittle and scold pet owners. He proceeded to tell me, "pet owners should be more responsible" and bring their pets for follow up care. I was never told to bring my dog back but took it upon myself to have him be seen again. Had I'd known my dog would not be seen by the previous vet, I would not have met with Dr. Mucera and his abusive and hostile behavior. Stay clear of this particular vet. He has no empathy for pet owners and much less sick animals. I'd go as far as to say, even the staff seemed to be petrified of him!

FIND SOME PLACE ELSE.I had previously used this clinic as my primary Vet back in 2016-2018. But then I moved, and I remember why.Recently my cat experienced eye problems and this was the only appointment I could get on a Sunday. While the doctor was nice he ultimately didn’t treat my cats eye as aggressively as he should’ve. He didn’t suggest blood work, or a more thorough eye exam which may have resulted in my cats eye becoming permanently damaged- something I discovered 10 days later when the eye drops he gave me didn’t really do anything except allow the undiagnosed glaucoma to shift to the other eye.I don’t like writing bad reviews but my cats life has been greatly affected. I had a follow up appointment that I’m glad I cancelled. I don't trust their opinion. I wouldn't even go so far as to use the word expert.UPDATE: After calling the a veterinarian eye specialist in the area I was told they have heard 'poor' reviews of this animal hospital from other patients. Please whoever is reading this please find another doctor to take care of your animal. My cat's sight may never return and part of it is due to the lack of true care given in his true time of need.

dr Muscera is a jerk. My dog's second hematoma in his ear in three months and I'm trying to get answers for my dog to finish him having this and to see the financial best solution for me. A lot of money went out the first surgery. He gave me a rush job because the room was full of people. Super snotty when asking him for advice. The visit with him lasted 5mins at most when him talking condescending to me the whole time. Then he said we're going to drain the ear and he never did. My dog left the clinic with nothing done, an ear still full of blood but I still paid for the visit. Oh and the bill was $1800 to get the fancy surgery done. No other option was explained. This guy is full of ego.

Really bad experience overall. Want to note for avoidance of doubt that the front of house staff was totally fine, veterinary assistants were also totally fine, in fact they all seemed to be actively working to make up for the problems of their boss. Doctor Mucera was that he was extremely rude to the point that I couldn't trust him to be around my pet. He legitimately doesn't seem like an animal lover or much of a people person. He Didn't introduce himself, stood with his back to us the entire time. He took minimal notes compared to other doctors. Didn't offer any explanation of his proposed treatments, and when asked, he was he was agressive. It's part of his job to explain his treatments and I shouldn't have to stop him with a needle in his hand just before he jabs my cat and then be condescended to. What was perhaps most concerning about the experience was that the Doctor seemed to struggle to articulate what he was thinking and doing. I don't actually question his diagnosis - but I don't think he's competent to actually perform even simple surgery. Guy kinda seems like a life long C student to be honest and I want better for my cat. It's funny - there's a picture on an old review here showing the doctors at the practice. Looks like there used to be a much better team and that it's evaporated so maybe this is one place to avoid.

Brought my 14yo dog Satchel here today with an eye infection. Even though this wasn't my usual vet they fit me in. Thank you Dr. Mucera. Everyone was kind, caring and professional. Looks like I may be changing vets.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The staff is extremely rude, especially the veterinarian Mucera, who I even doubt is a real vet (due to my dog's clinical history being extremely incomplete and poorly done to the point that the insurance did not accept it because they thought it was false). Both my family and the insurance company tried to contact this person without success for so long to the point that my mom had to go to the place where the receptionists even threatened to take her out by force when she asked to speak with Mucera who locked himself in his office as soon as he saw her. All of them take a defensive attitude so as not to accept mistakes. My dog was there due to a fall, and they didn't even put that on the report, they didn't even add the oozing wart that he has on his back...... the service is not good and it's not cheap at all, if you have another option go there without hesitation to avoid headaches.

I came in on a Sunday Morning for the first time time. My usual vet was closed, and I found Animal Clinic of Queens though Google/Yelp. I suspected my dog had a UTI and didn't want to wait to have her seen. I called around 11am and they said I could come in for 1:30 but there may be a wait. No problem! I arrived at 1:20 and was home (10 minute drive) by 2:30! The doctor was friendly and very kind to my pup. They gave me antibiotics and gave me peace of mind. The best part though was the affordability. A last minute appointment, with prescription to take home, was $88. That's unbeatable. I love my regular vet, but would absolutely return here.

I haven't made a review in a VERY long time. Look... simple question. Do you care for your pet? If no come here and make these doctors the people that take care of your pet. If you do care for your pet find another vet. ANYWHERE. Even if it's the sketchy neighbor that says he has a vet degree in some 3rd world country. The front desk are incredibly rude and their customer service is disgusting. They need new staff and some better training. This place is also very old school and have lost my papers works several times. They don't respond to emails all they say is they'll send it or they'll leave a message for the doctor to call back. The only reason I came here was for Dr. Caporale but he has left (I wonder why). We did a test on my dog and it took about 4 weeks to talk to a vet there because they would never put one to talk to me. I wanted Dr. Thomas to explain the results and what he thinks we should do next never got to him eventually spoke to another doctor who said "i can just tell you what It says on the paper but anymore else I can't because Dr. thomas saw your pet." That was my last straw and pisses me off. This place needs to shut down and it shows they are all money hungry. I went to another vet and said that luckily I came to them early or my dog could have had severe complications... please take care of your babies. Humans don't deserve pets they use it to blood suck money out of other humans and get filthy rich. -1000000000 STARS. Hope you are read this. Specially everyone that works at this specific clinic. P.s. Don't go on weekends because while you wait 1 and a half hours to be seen you will see a bunch of families crying because their dogs are being put down

If I could give a zero I would. I never leave reviews but my experience here was so bad I want to warn people. A few people were nice but most of the staff is rude, uncaring and seem to have zero regard for the animals, to tbr point where I don't understand why they even work there. The vets are ok but I always felt like they were pushing me out; no consideration or explanation of my cat's status, so like, why am I even bringing my animals here? One employee tried to deny my dying cat meds for the stupidest reason, and while someone rectified the situation, it was the straw that broke the camel's back. I found a different vet through Vetster, literally a 180 from the lack of care I received at this office. I will never be going back. Also I want to chime in and say their prices are insane. I paid $77 (!!!!!) for a prescription that cost me $9 at Walgreens. This is a scam, not a caring or compassionate clinic for animals.
