Wegmans Meals To Go used to be one of my go-tos on a busy weeknight but it has gone really downhill. Twice in a row they have put way too much sauce on my subs causing them to be disgusting and inedible. Tonight my subs took 30 minutes beyond my pickup time and I had to bring back 2 subs due to this and the manager acted like it wasn't a big deal. He only offered a straight refund but nothing to compensate me for my wasted time and ruined dinner. He made me feel like I was exaggerating bc the workers tonight were "experienced." Disappointing subs and customer service.

The older lady (long white hair) in floral made the most beautiful arrangement for my niece’s graduation. It got lots of compliments and I’m sure a few people considered using wegmans for floral because of it.
But the customer service was deff lacking. No can I help you or would you like something put together? I had to search her out and ask and to be honest despite not doing anything else at that moment she acted like she was inconvenienced to be having to provide me with the service wegmans freely offers. Not sure what’s up with wegmans customer service standards. I’ve noticed the area wegmans have definitely been slacking. I no longer live in the area but look forward to my wegmans trips and I have to say I’m less and less impressed with the employees every time I return.
Side note; lady in cheese was an angel and so friendly. Sad to say it’s rare to see now.

I was a grocery store mgr for years in my younger days. I so enjoyed visiting this awesome store...a Walmart sized grocery store with excellence down every aisle! I believe, with self checkout, there were over 50 checkouts. Fresh, beautiful, well stocked, lots of employees. The final thing that I saw when leaving the store was a picture of the founder (now deceased) with his saying..."Never think of yourself...always think of others." I live on the west coast and this store is in NY...but...I sure hope to shop in a Wegman's again! Wowser!!!
