Absolutely awful experience. They are complete bullshitters. You buy a brand new vehicle with the promise of equipment to go along with that vehicle and low and behold it's been three weeks now and shockingly still no equipment. And they lie the entire time. And then blame it on other people, saying he is a horrible employee and that you just fired him... We were also told during one of our meetings with the sales rep that they were firing one of their managers the following day. Who does that? Keep that shit in your own house. Don't air your dirty laundry to your customers, especially when that poor employee has no idea.

Came here looking for a used car. I ended up going with a 2017 Subaru WRX. Jon was super kind and wasted no time trying to upsell things i didn't need. Great service here.

Last year May - July in trying to get my 2021 ******* body work completed by Gault Auto in Endicott. I ended this 3 month fiasco after waiting almost a month for the Collision/Body shop to complete the work, as COVID impacted delays to them getting parts. But to be told that the parts were all in mid June 2021 and going there for the repair only to be told that parts are not in after waiting there three quarters of an hour. However, frustrating & a lack of coordination by Gault staff. The final reason for never going back to Gault Auto was the inferior paint job after having the vehicle there for over 3 days July 6-8 & finding further damage to the front left fender! I immediately went back into the Gault Body shop office & had the Gault shop adjuster/ estimator come out to where they had parked my car for me to pick up. He took a photo of the damaged fender & informs me, he will contact my car insurance. To which I replied: why should this be my insurance responsibility? That damage occurred here at Gault. He just went back into his office without a reply ignoring my question. I took my car home and when I noticed what appeared to be a two plus circular hologram like donut impression of the painted front hood. Emailed the ** at Gault without getting a reply that same month. So I contacted my insurance agent & was informed that Gault received full payment over $1,821 for this work. I called the body shop manager about this amateur paint repairs to no avail. This botched paint job months later added an additional $1,280 to get this messed up paint job remedied by another more compendent body shop. Very sad commentary on why insurance rates climb! Perhaps Gault has too much business to care about having customer satisfaction? A very nice lucrative business model & position to be in?\nBut not good for a long standing business model. All I know is going forward I will never send my car to Gault in Endicott for repairs or either recommend that to anyone else.

After nearly 13 years of being a loyal customer and having all our service done at your business; Gault's thanks to us is to make up some new rule, or enforce some old rule that we were never informed about and was never an issue in the past, and refuse to honor your commitment (tires for LIFE) to us? Amazing. And this after we continued to bring our vehicle to you even though you charged us over $1600.00 for two failed attempts to solve the check engine light, that is still on to this day. This also after you broke one of the pressure sensors during another tires for life service session, and refused to fix it. And also after you guys have tried to pass off Cooper tires on us every time we have brought the vehicle in for tires for LIFE, rather than the ******** tires that the deal was for. (Even going so far one time as to put the ******* on, then tell us we had to bring the car back two days later to get the proper tires on.) And also after failing to remove the old oil filter gasket during an oil change, which caused a massive leak and required me to fix it myself along side a road. I would also add that this vehicle was in for tires for LIFE (and an oil changes) a few months ago, and we were told that they weren't (quite) ready yet. This would have been a good time for you to have mentioned an alignment being needed; not that we don't ALWAYS say "and anything else that may be due for the tires for LIFE program" every time we have it in to you. (Which you can look at the note we left with the vehicle and see we also included this time.) Also, let's be honest here, the tire are extremely evenly worn, so alignment nor rotation is the issue here. The issue, quite simply, is your companies failure to honor its commitment. I grew up with a car salesman for a father, and his favorite saying was that "a salesman can sell the first car, but it is the service department that will sell", (or not), "all the others.) Interestingly, we are actually in the market for a new truck; can you guess where we absolutely will NOT be looking?

Hate waiting

I'd never buy a "Gault" anything. After 20 years of service without a single complaint in the parts department, they waited until 6 months before a full retirement plan to take effect for my father in law to trump up some unsubstantiated complaint in order to fire him so they would not have to pay the retirement. He was hired the week after this insult by Botnick Chevy and worked for them until he died again without any complaint or problems.
