This place has been around since i was a kid growing up in the neighborhood 30+ years ago. It has such a wonderful sense of nostagliaWhenever we drop something off we pay ahead and they give you an addional 10% off which is great. The turn around time is usually within a few days. Whenever we drop something off we always pick it up later than expected and never have an issue.Items always come back clean. The staff is friendly and because theyre organized we havent lost an item. There is also plenty of parking. So if your new to the area these guys do an excellent job! I have never used the tailoring services only the dry cleaning.

I was a loyal customer for more than 30 years. But the Managment has recently changed and it's clear they take ZERO PRIDE in they're work. On my recent trip. They destroyed a lace and denim jacket from sacks fifth Avenue and blamed it on me for not asking them to iron down the seams etc. The tags were falling off the denim was tearing it looked terrible I'm heartbroken. On the same trip a free people white top had a blue stain on it and wasn't even pressed. Another excuse. Is all I got and lastly a pair of jeans that had the studs falling off ..... Why on earth do we take things to the dry cleaner if they're not safe even there. I find it hard to believe they even dry cleaned my items. This was the last chance I wouldn't recommend them if they were the last place on New York. Come on take a little pride in your work. !!!!

I love Jim Dandy Cleaners. Paul and Sue are just wonderful along with their staff. Very clean and no question about their work. I love going there and their busy hours are accommodating.

Literally ruined a dress that, through my fault, should not have been dry cleaned. Unfortunately I hadn't read the label on my dress prior to taking it to the cleaners. HOWEVER, as a dry cleaning business isn't there job to take proper care of any material brought in? You'd think after you paid your money they'd double check labels to ensure longevity of clothing brought in. I went to pick up my dress and received it in such poor condition. I had to return to ask them what was up with the stitching that had been pulled in various locations. On top of that, several parts of the dress had been full of lint. This place cares very little about your item and thrives on overcharging. I'll never bring my items here and I'll be sure to deter my family and friends from bringing their clothing here.

Great service. The staff is very welcoming. They are my tailors also. I've never had a major problem here. Any issues have always been resolved to satisfaction.

I have been using this dry cleaner for years. I have no problem with the dry cleaning section, except for the time they lost my son's suit. I don't hold that against them because it was recovered. However, the alteration department is another story. I loved Tony and Jenny they were great at alterations. The new tailor and seamstress on the other hand are a bit lazy. I dropped off a dress to be altered and was told it would be ready on Tuesday. I was happy with that because I needed it for an event on Thursday evening. When I got there it hadn't even been touched. She didn't even apologize, she just said it wasn't ready and I should come back on Thursday. I was desperate so I had to just leave it there. Now today I attempted to have a skirt altered which has a slit that is not appropriate for my pre-teen. I was told by the tailor that "it was too much work". Can you imagine? I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

DONOT go to this dry cleaners. Strike 1-I put a new pair of slacks in for dry cleaning and they mixed my my slacks in with a red garment and the color bled. I needed the pants to travel for business . They offered to re-clean I didn't bother . Strike 2-I put a pair of pants in for tailoring on Wednesday 9am went to pick them up Saturday 130p and they were not ready . The lady had the nerve to say I didn't pay (which I did). Then the excuse was the tailor who took in the pants works M-F . okay my pants should have been done before Friday. Strike 3-no apology for either incident. I will never use them Again. You have been warned!

BS + From the clothes my wife got dry cleaned things look legit. I got some pants cut before as well and they were neat and clean. My wife comes here weekly or monthly. It's super close to our house and they rush things if you ask for it. She rarely complains except from the tailor at times but they correct their mistakes. We even had drapes and curtains taken here and they did it right. I see a lot of negative reviews. I can tell the frustration. Not every location is perfect and they will work with you and cater to your needs. Just ask and be patient. Don't just Yelp-Bomb them. They have a nice parking lot. Not sure about restrooms. The cashiers are ok and nice at times. They have an attitude at the end of the day. The Chinese people who own this place are super nice. I always see them busy and always moving. If you pay in advance you can get a discount as well. * Boomsauce scale. BW = Dis $@% is BASURA! (Garbage). Not recommended. BS = it's just O.K. (experience) BS+ = Yo! I like this place. BS++= That's Whoa! This place good. BS+++= Dayumm! This place is fkn DOPE!

be careful when going, dropped off 11 shirts, was charged for 13 when i got the counter for the pick up the young lady ripped the receipt off my shirts, but left the other receipt, i asked where was the receipt and she said i was over charged. if i did not ask, i would not have known. please check your receipt before leaving

I LOVE the food here. It's one of my favorite places in the neighborhood as it is close to my house. I love the roast chicken, salmon, and steak. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from and rotate them throughout the week. I also love their soups. The sancocho and seafood soups are AWESOME.

The food here is good. I haven't dined in, only take out. They have a nice sized seating area if you don't feel like leaving. Not only do they have Spanish food (Salvadorian I believe) but they also have some pretty decent penne ala vodka. I usually get the shrimp as I am a pescetarian, but they also have salmon and a white fish which I didn't particularly like. The rice and beans are great and so is the marinated avocado salad...can't beat the price either!
