I spent some time in this store and was blown away by the customer service and kindness of the sales team-- especially Anna, who helped my friend and I and took care to point out the additional sales that J.Crew had running. Definitely recommend!

When we visit the Hamptons...we especially enjoy East Hampton...why? Because there is the BEST J. Crew store in the country that we patronize every time we're in town.The store is unbelievably well stocked and displayed but most importantly it is extremely well run. The attention to detail and the superior customer service and focus makes you WANT to support such an AMAZING brick and mortar store. Sure we could always shop on line but the personal assistance and wealth of knowledge about all J. Crew merchandise gives us confidence our purchases are PERFECT!Special thanks to Amanda who manages an incredible kids department. She is amazingly customer focused friendly personable and professional and very kind. She always is and has been SO helpful in directing us to the exact right clothing and accessories for our grandkids! Her expertise brings constant joy for us as we see our grandson and granddaughter enjoying their clothes. Finally we'd be remiss if we didn't mention Kerry, East Hamptons store location store manager and her entire staff. You can tell when a store is extremely well managed and associates are customer service driven. It's a credit to Kerry and we truly appreciate her and Amanda's cordial relationship that makes us and we're sure others want to return as often as possible! Thanks again!

I have been a loyal customer of J.crew for many years and I loved them-all up to a few days ago.I entered this location with a bag from a near by store and walked around looking at different items. The whole time I noticed a chubbyy female employee in her early 60’s following me and checking on what items I’m looking at.After about 5 minutes of been watched and feeling really uncomfortable,I have decided to leave the store and check out some other stores. While I was walking to the exit the employee walked in a hurry to the entrance of the store and waited for me to approach,when I did she blocked the door with her body and shouted out loud “DO YOU HAVE A RECEIPT FOR THAT?” Pointing at my bag that I came into the store with.I immediately replied and said “I haven’t bought anything nor have I took anything” and opened my bag to prove my statement, without asking me for permission or consent and with no hesitation she reached into my bag and pulled out a scarf that my cousin made for me, I told her “that’s mine” she didn’t respond and looked at it as if she was trying to determine if it’s from her store or not. A few seconds later she gave me back MY stolen property and said “have a good day” that’s it! No “I’m sorry” or anything like that.I left the store in shock,feeling humiliated by a racistt. I will never return to this location!!! And I recommend that you all stay away and don’t support a racistt location.

There are obvious cues that this store doesn't care about their male customers. First, the door is always locked, forcing all customers to walk through the Women's side. The last visit, there was a folding table right in the way of everything. The clothes are still good. But the store is not well run anymore.
