Having complications after cataract surgery (with another facility) I came back to Falcon Optical for new glasses to help my vision. Dr. Oltz gave me an eye exam and Rich ordered new lenses for me. Returning to the Retina-Vitreous Surgeons, when I took my eye exam I could read the very last line on the chart. I was ecstatic!
Rich, Celina and Dr. Oltz are the BEST! They are the Most Professional, Friendliest, Helpful and Cheerful place this side of the Mississippi! Their Frame selection is Totally Phenomenal!

Went here to get my glasses adjusted because they were slightly crooked and one lens touched my cheek.
Celina, the optician, diagnosed my issue right away by looking at me. Took a few minutes and my glasses were saved from me snapping them into a million pieces from frustration. She checked how they fit while walking around to see how they fit on my ears. One side was still off so she adjusted them.
I’m so grateful! I wasn’t charged nor did I need to sign a waiver. You could tell they really know their stuff. I’ve had really bad experiences in this area and was really scared. But I’m so happy with the results.
I didn’t buy my glasses here originally but I’m going to for my next pair. Their glasses selection was soooo freaking cool.

Amazing. Everything. The customer service first and foremost… beyond. That loveliness is only rivaled by the incredible selection of colorful, offbeat, stylish, and WOW frames. Went in for repair, a week later I’m styling the coolest black cats eye glasses in all the land!
So happy I found them.

Had to get a new prescription but also needed to get My prescription done and eyes checked out for work. They were able to get it done and get me in fairly quickly so I could submit the document to the State. Also appreciated the atmosphere. It wasn't just a stuffy eye doctor's appointment. Loved talking about cars!

Great place! I broke my glasses while visiting in Dryden and they got me right in and I was able to find frames that fit my lenses!

In looking at the reviews, it seems that they are mixed; sometimes this happens with businesses over time and for different customer interactions. I hope that all customers continue to have as great of an experience as I did today. This was my first visit to Falcon Optical and I was impressed. I traveled to the shop to get a frame that a friend purchased at Falcon. They happened to still have it in stock (Todd Rogers, the Dibby) and I was delighted to see an even greater selection of other stylish/artsy frames. I highly recommend their selection and everyone was very friendly. Susan was especially wonderful with my son who was looking at superhero frames.

Outstanding customer service! Rich and Salina are just great. I have never had a bad experience. Even when they are very busy they take time to greet everyone and and so knowledgeable! I would recommend them to anyone. My egoless family is seen there.

Great experience from beginning to end! Everyone was very pleasant and helpful over the phone and in person. My only "complaint" is they have so many beautiful frames to choose from, making it hard to choose only one. :-) The building looks small from the outside but they've made terrific use of their space.

Jekyll and Hyde. First visit with six other people in small space, everyone having a good time. Next visit to pick up glasses was fine, treated well by daughter (sorry can't remember her name even though she says it each time.). Last visit due nauseousness for six days with new glasses. Had hoped to talk about what options they would recommend. However, there was never an opportunity to talk as I was treated like dirt from the initial phone call from the parking lot (on my way home) to the time I walked out. I was very polite and flexible, offering to come another time, just let me know when. He was rude, rude, rude, from the beginning of conversation, making it very clear I was taking him away from something important. Example: shutting the door as I came in while saying 'JESUS!'. No apology, just rudeness from him, cold shoulder from her. And he didn't have any clients, he was putting up shelving or something. They did give me my money back without a hassle, except for the $98 doctor visit. He told me I should see another doctor in case my prescription was wrong, so that's me out $98. I did not, nor I suspect did any of the others who have written here and all the others who just walked out and didn't leave a review, deserve to be treated with such rudeness. I didn't say anything or do anything to be treated badly. Seems they are good if there is no issue, if there is the slightest problem, they don't know how to handle it nor have the skills. Go somewhere, anywhere else.

Rich has been my optician for years. He and his daughter are terrific. Real pros, good prices, always a lot of fun. I followed him when he moved from Collegetown to Dryden years ago. Worth the drive!
