I went in with my silver, wavy hair just hoping for it to look better. I know my hair is not the most exciting or challenging curly hair but Meg proved that even wavy gals can benefit from a proper cut. She showed me that I actually have plenty of hair and I don't need a gazillion products to style it. Her simplified styling on me was notable the next day when my family actually noticed my wavy curls were still intact. In the following wash days, I noticed that the cut continued to deliver each time I styled it. I cannot even describe how this cut differs from others I have gotten from traditional hairstylists that say they can cut my wavy hair. I just know this cut makes my hair look better which is what I wanted.

I was visiting Florida and decided to book a curly cut with Meg since there are no curly hair specialists where I live now. I am SO glad I did! Not only is Meg really fun and easy to talk with, she's also extremely knowledgeable. I've spent hours researching curly hair care since I started my hair journey a year and a half ago. I even had two curly cuts at a different salon during this time. She gave me information and tips I hadn't ever heard before that I can use to improve my routine.Meg also created a lovely shape for my hair. I didn't give any direction on my haircut besides the length I wanted to keep. She worked her magic, and I'm obsessed with the results. I even got a compliment on my post-curly cut curls later that day while I was out grabbing coffee! As someone who struggles with hair confidence, it made my day. I will definitely be back to see Meg whenever I'm in town and am really grateful to have found her!

First off, Meg is such an amazing person and a joy to be around when getting a hair cut. Secondly, the amount of knowledge she has on curly hair is impeccable to me! And the best part is her willingness to share all that knowledge with her clients.I recently went to Meg for my first ever curly girl dry cut and she completely revamped my hair/curls. I couldn’t be more grateful. We spent nearly 2.5 hours together talking about techniques to use when styling and how to achieve my goals with my hair. She makes the process so easy and manageable. I recommend her to anyone with curly hair!

So happy I found Meg. I was tired of subpar service that I had been receiving for the past few years and took a chance on Meg. I’m so glad I did because she knows curly hair! She took the time to speak to me about my hair goals and routine before getting started. I felt she really cared to help me and treat my hair with respect. Her service is worth the price as she has no problem explaining and guiding you to treat your hair with love. She gives notes on how to take care of your hair after the appointment. I loved how easy it was to book with her.Meg is one of a kind! Will not go any where else anymore because I know I won’t get the care for my curls and outstanding service she provides.

Meg was amazing! My appointment was a great experience. Meg made me very comfortable from the first moment I walked in the door. Even though I submitted all my information and what I was looking for online before our appointment, she still took the time to ask questions and review things with me.As she dry cut my hair, I could already see what an incredible difference she was making. Throughout the appointment, she explained the science behind what she was doing and how to best take care of my hair. She asked if I had any questions, but honestly, she took care of almost everything without me ever having to ask.I would highly recommend Meg if you're in need of a curly cut by a professional who knows what she's doing! I'll be back in 3-4 months for my maintenance cut :)Adding more to my review as I've had the cut about a week: WOW. When Meg dry cuts your hair, she tells you that this is your "worst case scenario". I must tell you: this is the best case scenario I've ever had with my hair. This morning I washed, put in no product, did not diffuse, and it was one of the best hair days I've ever had. Unbelievable!!!!

I absolutely love Meg and her curly-girl haircuts. How much do I love her haircuts? Glad you asked! She had been cutting my hair for about 8 years in NY, then when she moved to Tampa FL, I flew down *twice* to have her cut my hair, then another time I drove 7 hours round trip for one of her New England pop-up studios. She is that good. Also, her cuts grow out beautifully. She’s a gift from myself to my hair.

Meg is an expert of her craft! It was not just a haircut, it was an experience. I learned so much more about healthy maintenance of my hair, scalp and even myths in the curly hair world! So much love and intent went into the service provided, it felt like getting my hair done by one of my best friends— and it was our first time meeting :)The hands on training took my expectation level above and beyond because she was so patient and kind through it all.Getting a curly girl cut is terrifying— but Meg made every single step of the way more comforting than the last! This review has been a long time coming! My appointment with Meg was back in July and it's almost October. I loved my haircut then and I still love it now. It's been growing out so nicely. If you're on the fence, do yourself and your hair a favor and go see her!Haircutting skills aside, the real value IMO is Meg's knowledge. I've spent my entire life watching videos, reading magazines, buying so many gadgets and serums to find what worked for my hair. Meg finally solved this issue for me. I admitted I am a lazy curly girl and I've had issues consistently getting the same style (either too little or too much hair product). She broke down a quick & easy process that I've been following since. She is easy to talk to and just an all around vibe. I am so happy I've found a curly stylist!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Sometimes a haircut can be quite a major moment in our life or distinguish certain direction we are going or how maybe we are feeling, Meg understands that and totally curates that experience. I’ve always known I had wavy/curly hair, but had no idea really what to do. So, not only did she give me a great cut that felt like me and flattering, but she also gave me some great wisdom and guidance. I love how she simplified things as I have gone down the whole Internet rabbit hole and felt even more confused about what to do about my hair and I felt very reassured that it actually was a lot easier to just let it be natural then to try and force it to be something it’s not. Her salon space is beautiful , her knowledge is extensive and she’s just fun and lovely in person. Highly recommend and very grateful that I was able to find her in the Tampa area. Let me start by saying how sweet, hilarious, authentic, and talented Meg is! Her curly girl knowledge is out of this world!! I spent several years doing blowouts, and constantly heat styling my 3b curls. So, I was pretty nervous to get back on track. We came up with a very manageable restart to my curly girl journey. Cut out my old life, and said helllllo to my 3b's again ?I felt extremely comfortable from the beginning, to the end of our appt. Meg listens intently to your hair goals, but also gives no nonsense, realistic guidance. Getting a haircut from Meg is truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I walked away with SO MUCH MORE KNOWLEDGE about my hair and how to take care of it. I’m actually able to style my curls on my own now and embrace my hair’s natural texture after 20+ years of having no idea what to do with it.
