I’ve been coming into this store for more than a decade now and they have constantly improved their selection and service. It’s nice to see a family owned small business prosper. I bring my friends and family here whenever I am in Chestertown. This store is a staple to the community and a treasure to the North Country.

Love crossroads. Always like to stop in for camping supplies and spend time browsing for all kinds of useful things. They have a great beer selection, tons of fishing paraphernalia, and tons of really nice clothes. Plus, the kids always love getting ice cream. I am a little sad that they don't have dairy free options for ice cream anymore, but they do have a gluten free come for my wife.

I absolutely love the contents of this store. Beautiful lay out and an assorted array of gear upstairs. 5 stars for that.
However, the glib, rude manner from the woman behind the deli counter will remind me--to always spend my money elsewhere.It is such a shame that she seems ALLOWED to be rude. I asked for a bit of mayo on my lettuce and she held up a dirty mayo spatula, and said she didn't have a squeezie jar, but she would try. I assured her the spatula would work. When I took my ten dollar sammie lakeside, I had to throw it out because that one little request angered her so much, she slathered my veggie wrap w mayo and made it inedible. My hub is 73 and I am 63 and I thought how unbelievable to be so rude in that beautiful store to two elders who were so polite.
