“Made the bridal appt as a surprise for my daughter. Her maid of honor also flew in from Washington State, as a surprise, to join her. I chose Carmela’s because the phone call went great. Woman on the phone wasn’t dismissive that this was a surprise and said despite my daughter not knowing about the appointment she could easily make it fun and productive. Most shops I called would not schedule an appointment because the bride was not aware of the appointment and the shop had no input from her until the day of. From the minute we stepped into the shop for her appointment, Chrissy, the owner was very attentive and made my daughter feel at ease. She let her shop and then offered suggestions as she tried on the dresses. Chrissy was all about the experience for my daughter and not the hard sell. For that reason my usually indecisive daughter was able to make her choice. Chrissy got a sale and my daughter can’t stop talking about her experience. “If only I could remember the names of the girls that assisted us in the process. Our first visit was the only one we needed as she took as much time as needed going through process of elimination with my daughter. We of course said “yes to the dress” that day! She explained how ordering the dress worked as far as the designer makes the dresses when ordered and she took all the appropriate measurements and said a round about time frame the dress would be in! She was spot on. We got the call in the exact week she said we should and when we went to try the dress on it fit my daughter like a glove. It was such a stunning moment to see. The girl that helped on this day took her time to help my daughter look at veils without a rush or care in the world. Of course we ended up finding the perfect fit and ordered it so we wouldn’t have any issues finding the exact elsewhere. I couldn’t be more pleased with all the hard work these girls put into helping you decide which dress is right for you. We felt zero pressure at either visit to make a decision we weren’t ready to make. HIGHLY recommend for ALL your bridal needs. Of course I can’t show anything right now so I’ll have to come back with a picture after the wedding”
