Every year my family and I attend the Hertel trick or treating event on Hertel. Usually they shut down that part of the street to traffic so that families can safely enjoy trick or treating for 2 hours. I heard today that Hertel Home Consignment started a petition to keep traffic going on the street because they feared they would lose business. Pretty sickening that they care more about having cars flying down hertel than the safety of families for a mere 2 hours. Never again will I go to this place or any of the other businesses that joined this petition. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Omg. They know how to take care of a customer. We all know things go wrong. It’s how you handle what went wrong. They were amazing with my purchase when things were out of their control and they handled it so professionally they had great communication and did everything they could to make everything right. I would definitely shop with them and work with them again.

Beautiful store and is it strange to say it smelled really good?! High end antiques, everything was beautiful and in excellent condition. More expensive items so maybe not super budget friendly but i genuinely believe the items are worth their sticker price.

I first stopped into the store several months ago when my wife and I were downsizing and needed to dispose of several items of furniture. I was initially somewhat skeptical because the store had been previously owned by someone else I had dealt with. However, as soon as I entered the store I was impressed with the high quality of the inventory and the helpfulness, interest and attitude of the staff and owner, Michael Chamberlin. He subsequently came to my house and selected several pieces of furniture to take on consignment. He then arranged for the items to be picked up at a very reasonable charge. Over the course of a few months all items were sold, and I received extremely fair compensation. I could not be happier with my experience. I would, without hesitation, recommend the services Michael and his staff offer. I am certain you will not be disappointed.

Was walking by this place & stopped in. Friendly staff gave me no hassle about browsing. Hard to believe the stuff is used. Amazingly clean store & it all looks new. Was told about the free parking at back door & they helped me carry my 4 items in & was pleasantly surprised when 3 of the 4 sold in 2 weeks. Dealt with owner Michael who was very helpful with pricing & everything carefully explained. This store is a great idea & I'll be back. Dennis

Dis place it's an absolute s*** hole when it comes to customer service. The disrespect was absolutely confusing. whoever answered the phone gave me an attitude about an offer I placed a day before dismissing me that she's not even going to inquire about it her response is simply no. then I was transferred to the so-called owner. A Queen with more attitude then RuPaul when pissed. The over the top sarcasm and dismissal towards an inquiring customer it's just absolutely incredible. this must be the only place on the planet who isn't open to negotiate. in fact they said that's correct. From a consignors perspective this is a wonderful business to work with. We had to liquidate my mothers estate and all of us lived out of town. It’s a difficult thing when you love and respect your mother’s furniture and you want it to go to a reputable business where it will be treated and sold with care. In addition we had to do this all through email and photos and phone calls. I felt Michael treated us with great respect. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable about used and antique furniture. Even from a distance the process was very smooth. Our items were sold quickly and at fair prices. I know our furniture went to loving homes to people who will cherish their ‘finds.’ Thank you Michael.
