A+ for convenience, they have most the everyday stuff you need often, with a WAY simpler and easier experience than a supermarket.
B-for orderliness. They're a bit of a mess in there with the stocking schedule and the boxes/crates sitting around unstocked. But I rely heavily on Fam dollar for getting by so I give them a pass. The staff in there are mostly cool, one guy shares good recipe ideas with me. There was one girl that was so nasty and rude I walked out once. But I don't see her anymore so maybe that's done with.

This store is always a mess and dirty. The employees are slow and not distracted. I love shopping at family dollar generally, but my experience with an employee there left me very upset. I was checking out and I had a product that was defective so the employee told me to grab another one from the aisle. I ran to grab another product and returned quickly. The employee was checking out a man who was behind me in line(which I had no problem with as I wasn't there at the time) so I waited for him to finish and went to return to get checked out and the employee told me I had to wait until he checked out the woman who was behind the man. I said why would he do that when I technically was in line first and he told me it was because I had left the line! Even though he was the one who told me to leave the line to get another product! And I only had one thing while this woman had several. I asked for his manager's name and he told me "Waldo" as in Where's Waldo! I left without purchasing anything because I was so upset at the way I was treated. I am hesitant to return to this store because of this which is a shame because I have spent a lot of money there and it's close to where I live.

Generally lately there are many products missing in the store, carts full of merchandise in all the aisles, or boxes in the middle of the aisles and it is difficult for the customer to get through, and even more so for people with disabilities.

A new renovation. Now you have to get use to the store. The girls in the store will not tell you cash or card line so ask. Things will not be in the normal places as before. You will be in there for a while if there is a line so put extra time on your shopping or go to Virginia street Family dollar.

Awful customer service. Walked into the staff engaged in an argument with a customer. I figured it was probably the customers fault, but after my experience directly after I realized they just have poor customer service skills. Speaking other languages in front of customers (very rude as it doesn't provide full transparency) also leaves a sour taste. They told me they didn't have the product I wanted when I could clearly see it behind them. One of the staff was even holding what I was asking for before I said I could see it. They put it down immediately. All around awful experience. If I didn't really need the Cord I would have left without it.

Its been a year since they had their aisles stocked... Been shopping at the other family dollar to get what i need.... Hope they get back to what it use to be.
