“The store is clean and organized. The staff was polite and had plenty of people working. You can't beat the prices and the cute stuff. They have a large selection of everything and the Christmas items are plentiful. The only thing I hate is the tight parking but love they still bag items for you at no charge. Love this store”

“Staff is wonderful and I can always find what I need. But, WHY is that gentleman always sitting outside of the Elmwood North Buffalo location asking for money to buy a cheeseburger??? And if you turn him down, he gets nasty - I told him I pay with a card and he actually wanted me to do cash back to give him money. Seriously?! Why is he allowed to loiter on private property and harass customers? It makes me uncomfortable and less likely to shop at that location...”
“This is such a great store to find well made products for cheap! It’s hit and miss with what they have on a given day but usually you can find really great products from great brands at much less cost than they would normally be. I’ve gotten a lot of shoes from here, they have such a large variety!”

“Not a Family Dollar I usually go to but I am sure I have been a bunch of times when I lived in the area. Just your usual set up as far as merchandise but the lay-out is a little different. Usually clean and the staff are cool.”

“It's a Family Dollar - you get what you expect. However the employees are always kind to me when I go in and the new remodel is very nice. I think having a security guard would benefit other shoppers and the employees. The employees aren't paid enough to deal with sometimes dangerous people coming in and stealing.”
“It's actually been cleaned up pretty nicely, things are much more organized and I really like the new layout of the store. The employees seem to be very capable in thier jobs, and dare I say that they were even friendly as well. I didn't think very much of the place in the past, just some dirty, little not-quite dollar store and all that. But I'm really, really impressed with the work that's been done to the place and I'm even looking forward to my next visit!”
“This store has only one shopping cart so if you are buying something heavy or a bulky item or two that won't fit in the hand basket you will need to wait, or come back, or might even need to go to a different Family Dollar (if you have a vehicle)”
“I go here all the time because of the prices and they have a lot of things that I always need, and it's close to my house. This is the cleanest and neatest Family Dollar store I've ever been to, but it's still a difficult shopping experience. Forget trying to shop with a shopping cart because you can't make it down half of the aisles because they're clogged with so much stuff and they are so narrow. Also, many times they have only one cashier with an extremely long line at the checkout. But what do you want at these prices? To me it's worth going there just for the convenience and prices.”
“I've never been a fan of Target because the prices always seem to be higher than many places. But when my target remodeled a couple of years ago, I had to be impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the store. Yesterday I was impressed all over again. The keyboard I'd bought for $10 last August on Amazon died suddenly two days ago. Not a very sturdy keyboard, but sure I'm guilty of contributing to its demise, as I'd often turn it over and bang it soundly on the desk to dislodge crumbs and lint and dust. Seems not a good idea. So to alleviate computer addiction withdrawal yesterday, I went out in the midst of a slight blizzard to see what Target might have in keyboards. I found one for ....$10. I not only took that home, but I ended up doing a little grocery shopping. I was surprised to find the things I bought were selling for the same prices --or less-- as the grocery store. When I got home and opened the keyboard box -- wow. Compared to the "Yugo" keyboard I had, this one was a Lexus. So I am impressed with Target now for the availability of quality merchandise at competitive prices. And still a clean and well designed store.”
“I love shopping at family dollar generally, but my experience with an employee there left me very upset. I was checking out and I had a product that was defective so the employee told me to grab another one from the aisle. I ran to grab another product and returned quickly. The employee was checking out a man who was behind me in line(which i had no problem with as I wasn't there at the time) so I waited for him to finish and went to return to get checked out and the employee told me I had to wait until he checked out the woman who was behind the man. I said why would he do that when I technically was in line first and he told me it was because I had left the line! Even though he was the one who told me to leave the line to get another product! And I only had one thing while this woman had several. I asked for his managers name and he told me "Waldo" as in where's Waldo! I left without purchasing anything because I was so upset at the way I was treated. I am hesitant to return to this store because of this which is a shame because I have spent a lot of money there and it's close to where I live.”

“How have I not been here before? Goodness gracious this place has everything you need AND MORE at great prices! Because there is so much stuff it can be a bit overwhelming but you just need to block out time and enjoy each aisle. I love the coffee section and the kitchen supply section is great! Bedding seemed to have wonderful prices and the storage and organizing sections were stocked! Love it. Will be back for sure!”
“Target is getting a little better having reasonably priced items. The store is like a maze hard to find items, which was a turn off, but overall shopping experience was good.”
