This review is 15 years in the making, this place is the closest shop to me and I've tried plenty of times to give them my business. The guy who works here is absolutely miserable and makes sure everyone knows it. He had expressed very clearly that if you don't spend enough, he'd rather you not purchase anything. I don't collect, I just buy stuff I think is cool when I have some extra money. I'm talking like $10-15 but he gets mad when you only spend that much. I hate writing bad reviews but today was the nail in the coffin. I came in specifically just to look at free comic book day cuz the store up the road was out of them. I didn't even want to interact with him but he greeted me and asked what I was looking for, I told him I'm looking for a specific free comic book for today and he said "you just want something for free?" And then scoffed and went back to handling the customer in front of him. Do you not realize if I came in and got good service and good prices (these are abysmal compared to literally up the road, how is this place able to flip product when scalpers are cheaper) I would recommend them to my friends and other people I know? Instead I actively advise friends to avoid this place like the plague. The 5 star reviews are absolutely from friends or favors cuz come on, there's no real reason to spend your money here.

Really cool old school comic store. TONS of bins to go through, and for the size, sorted pretty well. They mentioned a possible new location. That would be nice since its a bit tight, but its kinda fun like that too. Great prices too. If you are searching for missing issues, this is the perfect place to go.

Very rude and he’s greedy he has a whole sale license and the ability to actually procure stock for one piece cards while the normal person doesn’t and he takes advantage of that charging more then even online market prices and way over msrp on release day save the trouble of not over paying and don’t put money into the hands of someone who doesn’t care about his community only sees them as more money to he made

Called the store just trying to inquire about some Pokémon cards, made the mistake of asking about a 151 booster box instead of saying 151 booster bundle, and the guy who answered the phone was a Douc**. No customer service at all, was rude.

The owner is super fun to be around! Great shop lots to look at and shop for! Even has his dog in store that’s super friendly!! Can’t wait to come back!

Lots of options for a small store I found what I was looking for pretty quickly. The store owner told me the location will be moving to Transit Road in a few weeks. I'll definitely be checking it out.

This place is a terrible business. Owner has no social skills, was very rude when I visited the shop to purchase their OVERPRICED One Piece cards. I called in ahead of time and he would not tell me anything about what was in stock beforehand. The website has no prices on it, and when you make the trip out there you get hit with above Average Market Prices.Avoid this business at all costs, find an Ebay seller with good reviews and save yourself the drive. The ONLY reason I'm giving them a second star is because they are the only local store that actually has One Piece stock if you are desperite to get your hands on it at a premium...

Amazing service. the man behind the counter, and his counterpart, all know their stuff from Marvel to the obscure Japanese cards, to pokemon, and more.They are very friendly knowledgeable and helpful with great prices based on the area averages.We will be back again. Love you guys and love the puppy, too!

I stopped over to buy some MTG cards from a particular set as a xmas gift, was unsure if they had and I happened to be in the area. Online it says they're open at 12pm, I was over at 12:30pm on a Saturday- doors locked and no hours posted on the door.... so I called later in the afternoon when I got home. He says he has what I'm looking for, but doesn't discuss prices over the phone..... You don't have hours posted on the door, but they're online. You have a website, have 0 prices listed, and won't even mention them on the phone so I know how much $ to bring with me...I did not and will not go back. Best of luck to you.

Our nephew is into Pokémon cards. The owner helped us with picking out what would be good to get him. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend people to come here for all sorts of collectables.

Only time I ever bought from this store they sold me resealed celebrations tins. Id be cautious buying hot products from them. Especially products that can be parted out.For context this was years ago during when the zard Tins from celebrations with lances zard in the card window first released. I couldn’t find them anywhere except here. I did find it weird they had literally all the tins in our area behind their shelves. (None located at any Walmart target or GS but they had at least 100). So being overly excited I finally found them, I grabbed 2. Both tins had different plastic on them than normal and every pack on the inside was cracked in the center of the bottom to peak for chase cards.I have never returned again.

The best selection for all your hobby needs in wny.Pokemon yugioh magic old stuff all new stuff you name it he has it with the best customer service. Even had a little pack pull off contest with the owner!

The owner is very friendly and helpful.. cards could be a little pricier than some of the larger comic book/card stores but he's willing to negotiate a "fair price". The selection of sports cards are pretty decent, he also has Pokémon and I think magic the gathering cards (Not 100% sure). The comic book selection is one of the larger selections I've seen for a hole in the wall. I'm not big into comics but from what I've seen and heard from other customers browsing the store he has the most up to date selection of books and materials. I definitely recommend stopping in and giving it a view!!
