I'm going to be completely honest with this review. The haircut was nice, the bangs were a bit uneven, but overall it was a very good haircut. Unfortunately, it was NOT the one I wanted. This was supposed to be a gender confirming haircut and I was not give what I was was asked. I wanted a shaggy short mullet. When I showed her the photo she tired to convince me to do a bob instead. Eventually I caved, not wanting to argue, and got the bob. If anything the haircut made me feel more of a girl than anything. If you're transgender I wouldn't recommend going here as you're not going to get the cut you want. Just because someone walks in and looks like a girl, does NOT mean you should try and convince them to get a "girls cut."

I was visiting New York New York and needed to get my hair colored and accidentally came across this amazing miracle worker! She was able to give me an appointment in a timely manner. My very first visit to Kim’s salon today. I told her what I wanted and she gave me exactly that! I love the color of blonde she did on my hair. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her! You won’t be disappointed!

Kim is the best hair dresser I have ever had. I am twenty-nine, and I am very drastic and forward thinking with my hair styles. The first time I met with Kim, she was offering a free hair treatment with my cut and color. I had never received one before, and it was amazing. She treats my hair as if it was her own. Kim is constantly asking me questions, about my hair, what I have done with it, what I like, what I don't like, she asked me questions to get to know me better and about my lifestyle. By the end, she knows what I want for a hairstyle, before I know what I want! It's AWESOME! I knew after my first appointment that I wanted her to do my hair for my wedding this coming Summer. We have been planning it ever since. She reaches out to me with ideas and tons of pictures. I think she is just as excited as I am...which I really appreciate. Not only does she offer amazing hair styles and hair colors, but she nails the outcome. I have never been disappointed or underwhelmed. I am constantly getting compliments on my newest hairstyle, and usually still getting compliments up until the day I go to see her again! To say she is friendly and kind is an understatement. She cares, shes knowledgeable and uses her technique and education to inform me of the best procedures. I may suggest something and she will explain it in more detail and make sure that it is absolutely what I want. I just recently bought product from her and she wrapped it all up and added a thoughtful card of thanks! She may have started as my hair dresser but she ended up being a wonderful friend!!!
