Horrible!! The NAICA STAFF only take data to be archived for record keeping. They do not help at all. As a matter of facts I 've lost two opportunities with affordable housing apartment requesting documents from Mr. J Coultrain and Ms. Lee-Anderson. They do not help with housing. I 've been here, at this shelter, since January 2024 and I don't think they have a housing counselor, and if they do, I don't know who might be. As a matter of facts, I suspended the byweekly meetings with Ms. Acevedo, my case worker, because I will bring documentation for my rehousing process and nothing was ever done. As of 08/10/2024 I had a meeting with my case worker sent her documentation pertaining to an affordable housing I was chosen from the Lottery. Santiago F Lopez Sosa Documents for l952 Bedford Ave.
Most of the female security guards might believe they are C.Os that work at a correctional facility.
Cleaning of the rooms is done every two/three weeks. Changing a light bulb or cleaning the air conditioner filters might take three months to be done. This is a disastrous place.

Hi my name is michael dattoma im here at tge shelter 2 months so far every member of the staff has gave me a problem mr coltrain has played games with passes for work serena is un willing to give me here extention or phone number for anything she have me a diffrent number she is tgere have been threats in the shelter by case manager justin coltrain the frint desk members tell u to see casemanager for any issues and tgen case manager tells u to see the staff at front desk tgey have not been Ble to show me one apartment and if tgere is a problem tgey do not help serena is aware and controlled by staff she is tge worst director putting me in unsafe sitauations tge hole time changes storys around im a working guy trying to get out shelter ms artist sots rite by my case manGer and does not help making things worse and worse tgey all should be fired or tgere needs to ve a incestigation in the shelter the staff memver on willing to give his nMe was chasing me around tge neighboorhood tge otger day tge secuirity lady yelling in tge shelter whenvim just trying to go to my bed after two hours waiting to get in now im in room 609a and my roommate in 609b has not chNged his clotges from day one i ask for tape guy at front says talk to me diffrent i provide work schedule and emails to case mabager he t has even threatened me serena has thretened me to she does not care about my job she does not care about unsafe conditions if i dint privide ny paystubs i will not get passes i had work at 4pm i went to eat lunch i was not Ble to get back into room so tgen police come and staff said tgey wgere letting me in room but i had video footage of tgem all on tge 5th floor not letting me in room tgey all lie here i have video footage of alot with tge threats and staff serena is behind it all ms artist and selena amd justin coltrain kick me out room when im a working guy just trying to save my money im yrying to better my life by kicking me out of room focused me to drink and be on the street

I use to work here...3 years in....small shelter..nice staff n security...Just mind your own business...not gonna lie it's hard but try..other then that...nice area so walk away from there if u can n hurry up..get your voucher n GET OUT

Just like being in Jail. Staff VERY disrespectful, do not provide the services they supposed to as per their contract with NYC. Heavily understaffed. No drinking water for clients, clogged toilets, no Metrocards...etc. In general, I believe the higher-ups are stealing from this multi-million dollar contract they have with the city and SOMEONE should look into this to be able to see all the irregularities in this places. Where are all these funds the state/city provide for clients going? Certainly NOT to help the clients!
