Terrible service since Astoria was taken over by SNB and now Webster. Only one banker available on Saturday morning (the only time I have free to talk to someone. We got someone on the phone faster than the service in-person.It took multiple calls to get answers to our questions and we still have to come in to a branch to deal with part of the issue. The communication is horrible.Go anywhere but here for your banking needs. I got stuck with a loan being transferred to them after the mergers.

Cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone. I waited an hour on hold just for the line to disconnect. Received a check from this bank and it still hasn't cleared 5 days later. Check from this bank flag as scams for other banks

Worst bank in the entire NYC area. I was a customer since the Astoria Federal Bank days. Just went into the branch and had the worst experience with the Manager. They are being sold to Webster Bank. I wouldn't bank with them either if they are d*** enough to buy them. Went right across the street to Citibank and was treated much better. Banks today are just like sliced bread, they are all the same, but this bank stands out for the really bad customer service.

This Sterling is my go to location for all of my financial needs! The staff is always willing to help and is super accommodating. Any questions I have are always answered straightforwardly. Excellent customer service, would recommend to all!

After casually going inside this bank for a few general questions I was bombarded by an extremely nice staff and a great manager! I was definitely sold and they gained a new customer !!

I have been with this bank since 1990 when it was the greater New York savings bankI have stayed with them due to the customer service is amazing there is no corporate attitude they actually take the time to help me with my business and personal accountsThe staff is extremely friendly and the branch manager tabby has always been there when I have question or need helpShe takes the time to make banking easyThe 5th ave location in park slope is where to bank!

I am done with Sterling. Limited Hours, service and online experience is not worth it anymore. I wanted to support local regional bank but it brings little value. I never post negative feedback but hoping someone at corporate realizes this is a failing brand

This regards the branch on 7th Ave in Park Slope. We're in the midst of a heat wave, right? However, it's almost hotter inside this bank than it is outside. Put on the air for the sake of clients and employees!
