This place always makes the best Sandwiches meat/cheese is always fresh, I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and I’ve never thought badly of this place. This have a great slections of drinks and house items, wide range of snacks. When you come there you most likely to get what you needed for this small-one stop shop. The workers here treat and greet you with respect. ??

A large market with all your needs and they even sell food by the entrance. They sell so many different kinds of cup noodles and ramen so I suggest you go ahead and try something new or get your usual. There's a couple of different Mochi ice creams that they sell and honestly they are all so good. This is the best place to buy anything you need from food to cooking utensils.

If you understand and respect chinee culture you'll appreciate how well run this place is and the odd behaviors that may seem rude if you dont understand the culture. has a good variety of chinese goods that are hard to find other places.

This supermarket has been one of the first on 8th avenue. Yes it is the smallest compared to others around the area, such as Fei Long Supermarket, but it does have all your essentials that you need (poultry, meat, veggies, fruits, etc) at an affordable price. Personally, I think it's cheaper than Fei Long! Yes the customers within the area are rude as hell and yes the cashier ladies are usually looking dreadful, but I'm usually coming here to get what I want and leave. Not looking for a great customer service experience. If you don't speak Chinese, I suggest you bring a picture of what you want, so maybe someone can help you find what you need. If not then you are just going to have to walk aisle by aisle to find what you need, because the people working here barely speaks English. If you are looking for something more unique from other Asian countries or want some free samples of food, then go to Fei Long!

Its an Asian supermarket thats sells groceries and speciality items. Not looking for any special service. Just hope the produce and meat products are fresh with comparable prices. But they do carry some south Asian items I was looking for.

Bad, very bad! The service at this place is terrible. The meat cutters don't look at you and to make matters worse, they serve the people that come AFTER you. We were waiting there for 10 mins and the people simply IGNORED us. The shoppers are RUDE to come in and just cut the line. They must come from Mainland China. And the supermarket is the smelliest place I've shopped at. They haven't cleaned the place for like 2 years. There is a stench everytime I go to the seafood section. If you compare prices, you will tell they charge 50 cents to two dollars more expensive than other supermarkets for household items (glass containers, mugs, etc.). Go to other supermarkets at all costs!!

Came here before they changed it to New York Mart. I still come here but I tend to buy less items now. They have a cooked food section but it is not that well made and they rip you off. I don't worry about having the bone on the roasted pig, but they measured the meat, I paid and they decided to keep the bone part (the bones aren't light) when I didn't notice... TWICE! They accept foodstamp for these but it's not worth it unless you don't really care about the price and such.

The photo of the pig on top of cardboard boxes was taken today outside the market on 1/20/15. I told an employee outside and he just shrugged his shoulders. This is unacceptable. This place deserves ZERO stars because of the conditions but Yelp forces you to rate them.

This is my fav Chinese supermarket in town. Though it is small but contains lots of great stuff. Reasonable price and good quality. Shop assistants are nice and friendly and readily to help. I spent a great time shopping here when I lived in Brooklyn during the summer. Now I moved to Rego park Queens. Once I was so sad that I missed New York Mart. But! I found out this is a chain store. There is one in Jackson Heights. Awesome! I feel relieved. Life seems so great.
