“This is one the quickest service I’ve ever received, I needed a copy of my keys and I was calling a few places and all of them weren’t helping I called this store and he told me to pull up and within 5 minutes of me being in the store they finished faster then I can pick and choose a key change, definitely would be coming back and it’s a hardware store at that !”

“Best local hardware store. Jimmy the owner cares about all his customers amd extends every courtesy. He is so knowledgeable about most home and even commercial repairs or installations that its a place you can trust. Anyone with an issue can get the advice and help to tackle any job no matter your skill level. Its well worth the extra buck or two for materials because you actually have someone that knows about the jobs you need to do and the materials needed. You go to home depot and all you get is a shrug and or sorry I can't help you that's another department”

“Great store!I had a very specific, hard to copy key. It was also a holiday so many places were closed. I called them and they confirmed they could copy my specific key, and for a great price. (They also had a nice selection of colors and designs too although I didn't explore too much.)Customer service was also polite, and I was in-and-out in about 5 minutes with my new key copies.If you need keys, come to this place!”

“I rarely write reviews for anything but never in my life have I had as excellent a customer experience like this one.Our kitchen sink recently broke and flooded our floor. Because it attaches to our clothing washer and dishwasher and we have an infant, I decided to fix it myself in the next few days.I detached all the suspect parts, dragged them into the store, and Luis patiently listened to my explanations and assisted me. At first we thought it might be a mere washer replacement, and when it wasn’t and I returned, Luis insisted on processing a return of $2.50 or so for the unused washer and another piece.He proceeded to fix a much more complicated problem for me. Sawed two pipes I needed down to custom size in store, and came up with a creative solution to join two pipes. Lovely people, Luis is the best, our two washers and sink are back to working, and we were saved $100s of dollars by visiting this store for not having to hire a plumber!”

“The customer service at Mazzone Hardware is excellent! They are so welcoming to their customers and do a phenomenal job of explaining things, from what to buy to fix broken pipes to the different types of paint finishes (they sell Benjamin Moore paint products). It's not a huge store in terms of size but it packs a hefty punch. Plus, they have a nice garden center with plants, vases, and seasonal items. We are fortunate to have this long-standing store in Carroll Gardens!”
“Very helpful staff for non-trade people like myself. They have always tried to save me money with items I am buying there suggesting other ways to do things. As for the pricing I find it generally pretty far compared to other hardware stores or the Homeless Despot. They have a much much better selection than HD and there is always a person who actually knows what they are doing unlike HD. I have been going for years here only thing I don't like is the hours they are open during the week and only on Saturday until 2, can't blame them.”

“Walked in with a picture of what I wanted because someone sent me on an errand to buy something for a festival. The guys working this shop are so friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. If they don’t have something out in the open then they definitely have it in their storage room. What really made my experience top notch was that the guy helping me asked what I needed the item for, and upon hearing the reason actually recommended the cheaper-priced option because I “didn’t need the heavy duty version.” That’s really great service. Probably the best local, family-owned shop I’ve ever been to in NYC; I wasn’t expecting it to be a hardware shop of all things.”
