Nice shop in the heart of Brooklyn, fair prices, cute items and best of all, the shop is actually the secret identity of a non-profit that promotes writing among young students (and often publishes it too). It's worth spending a few dollars to support them! (Plus the clerk was super nice).

I am grateful that a space like this exists. It's a supportive nurturing writing environment for all children. They offer free and slidding scale tuition. My son has attended In person and online classes. I appreciate this place so much I donate even when my son is not in attendance.

This place is so much fun and just the coolest. The staff are super nice and the store is quirky and unique. They have everything needed for an aspiring super hero (and the world needs more of those). Good for kids (and heroes) off all ages (and adults too)… just bring your imagination. The Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. is a gift, toy, and costume shop for real superheroes. While you won't find characters from this month's blockbuster movie, you will find capes, masks, gadgets, and superpowers to be your own hero. You will also find a treasure trove of writing by the young authors of 826NYC. See if you can find the secret door that leads to our hidden library!
